'The hotel is old, it gives the feeling you've travelled back in time. We booked the hotel to experience classic room with futon beds. The view from the room was very nice. 'Hotel seemed recently renovated. Large clean room with own bathroom. Good value. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for dinner. We had dinner in a local restaurant a couple of hundred meters down the street. Kinugawa Onsen itself is nog the prettiest of onsen towns, but fairly close to Nikko, that is why we chose tot stay there.'
