'Amazing location, loungers on the beach, fabulous beach front alfresco dining, on site restaurant served great food with a homely touch. Service was impeccable yet casual and friendly. Large rooms, nice bathrooms. The fit out of the room is nice but fairly basic if comparing to a 4-5 star hotel'

'Stayed three nights at Atea lodge. Wish we had booked a longer stay. Beautiful property with views to die for from the expansive balcony. Rooms meticulously clean and well appointed. Kelvin and Lynne were the most welcoming hosts and helpful with recommendations for attractions and dining options etc in the area. After days out exploring the surrounding district, loved returning to the lodge to soak in the views from that balcony over a wine or two. Breakfasts were excellent and set us up for...

'The retreat is located in a beautiful area overlooking the ocean. The hosts met us when we arrived with fresh baking and goodies and a stocked fridge. We enjoyed our stay! '

'Great location. Quiet and close to grocery store and cafe my fat puku which was great!Some plumbing issues but thats life and have already discussed with Mike. Mosquitoes were a big deal for me as i react badly. Unfortunately Window mesh didn't fill all the gaps . Duct tape would help as a first aid measure or mike put some adhesive foam on the bottom of the frames already there.'
