This historic 3-story home features a rare double-decker porch to ensure breezes and ocean views that intoxicate the senses. Built in 1900 and just seconds from the beach, the Chelsea House features up to 10 bedrooms and 5 baths, recently renovated kitchen and appliances and refinished hardwood floors.

NOTE: There are strict sound ordinances in Ocean Grove that must be adhered to. Quiet times are from 10pm to 8am. If this is not adhered to during your stay you will be removed from the property. This is a family-oriented neighborhood and the perfect place for a family vacation. This is not the rental for any/all parties or loud events. Just be quiet at the rental between 10pm and 8am.

A rental agreement will be forwarded to you upon booking, which requires the names of all visitors to the rental. This is a town ordinance and is strictly enforced. A signed rental agreement must be returned upon booking for all reservations. Exceeding occupancy reserved during your stay will forfeit your $2,200 security deposit.

Located in the heart of Ocean Grove’s famous historic district, the Chelsea was a popular boarding house for more than 40 years and still retains the charm of a bygone era. The main house has 9 bedrooms and 4 baths to sleep 16. The optional owner's apartment can be arranged to house additional guests in a separate living space. All accommodations have central AC and updated amenities throughout.

The Chelsea is walking distance to shops, restaurants, cafes, ice cream parlors, and the front door is only yards to the beach. Two porches are perfect for relaxing with morning coffee or evening cocktails. A barbecue is available for outdoor grilling. Flowers bloom in the front-yard garden and stunning, gingerbread-strewn Victorian homes surround the house in every direction.
This dream rental is perfect for families, and there is plenty to do for everyone. Guests can enjoy the ocean, tennis and bocci courts need to be arranged with the OGCMA, 3 playgrounds, miniature golf locations, and scores of restaurants within walking distance. Sign up for sight-seeing tours, go deep-sea fishing, browse nearby antique and gift shops, or dine at a multitude of sidewalk cafes. Two convenience stores for quick pick-ups are nearby, and several full size grocers are within a few miles. For the Shopper, we have 2 name-brand outlet malls within driving distance. For day of fun, it’s only a 30 minute drive to Six Flags Great Adventure. And there is easy access to buses and trains to NYC.
