'Right on the beach'

'Heavily overpriced for the quality you get (on food and beverages). Also paying for beach chairs etc. Hotel is nice and we enjoyed the installation but food and beverages were very basic while all charged on premium rates. Also very high fees to rent beach equipment which in my point of view is outrageous. We have much better experiences in Hawaii concerning that so definitively something to improve. No problem to pay a price but you expect something in return which we didn't feel at all. '

'The service was amazing, we were upgraded to a better room for free and the staff cleaned our room well everyday. We were also right across the beach at walkable distance from everything in Waikīkī. There were many hidden fees though (60$ for parking, and 49$ resort fee) so be aware before you book. The parking was also a bit inconvenient as it’s not your standard parking lot, but a tall and narrow structure that had many turns. '

'Ongoing maintenance was an issue around the pool as the loud jackhammers and grinding on concrete.'
