'They had some challenges with the card-system, but how they dealt with the situation: extremely friendly - extremely helpful, they did everything they could to make sure we suffer from the situation. Great and safe location (not too far from the city center), and a fantastic breakfast (super friendly Scottish guy who served us breakfast as well). Worth the price :-) '

'Although many stars given by me, my all in all result is 3 stars because of the all day long (24/7) heavily humming noise I heard in my room. Luckily I had a couple of earbuds with me that I was going to use during a pop concert, so I didn't hear the noise during my sleep. My room was a single person room, number 31. So if you get that one offerred, immediatly ask for another room.'

'Net hotel, wel echt Engels. Personeel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Zou aanraden iets aan het licht te doen in de kamers. Veel te wit. Tegenwoordig hebben zo ook met “spaarlampen” mooie warme gloed lampen. Maakt het wel gezelliger.'

'a very basic accommodation, the rooms are adequate and shower is hot. the area is safe and you have the lake to walk around. Bring snacks and drinks as difficult to get on site. my only real complaint is the walls in the single rooms are very thin. '

'Kamers zijn redelijk gedateerd, bedden slecht en klein. Hotel heeft veel faciliteiten maar is erg rumoerig als er veel congressen zijn. Ontbijt prima, personeel vriendelijk. '

'Really lovely hotel. My partner and I decided to come to Nottingham for a spontaneous night away and booked this hotel because it was walking distance from a lot of restaurants and the city centre. As expected, the hotel doesn’t have parking but it’s only round the corner from the lace market car park which is fine. The only thing that let it down was that the room was really hot even when turning the heating all the way down to cool and you couldn’t open the windows. But otherwise, lovely hotel...

'Goeie ligging, correct eten en bediening. Echter hotel mag dringend eens wat herstellingswerken uitvoeren. De bedden waren ook zeer hard! Matrassen zijn versleten. '

'We absolutely loved our stay from beginning till almost the end. When we arrived we were told by the male staff member that breakfast was included. At check out that turned out not to be the case. We should have checked ourselves, but the insincere apology from the manager is the reason why we left somewhat disappointed.'
