'This is my second time staying here in the last couple of years and it just wasn’t as well maintained as it was previously. I know there was a weather event a couple of weeks ago but I would’ve hoped the shade sail over the pool could’ve gone back up by now, blackspot be tackled in the pool and a little bit of maintenance to the grounds like lawns be done.'

'The onsite cabin was modern, spacious and immaculate, we had arranged to check in late and the text for the lockbox code arrived comfortably early. Just be aware that the Gold Coast airport in nearby, there is clearly a night curfew so sleeping was fine.'

'We wilden met 5 personen een goedkope overnachting in de buurt van Byron Bay boeken. Omdat er een festival was, dat weekend, moesten we uitwijken naar Evans Head. Geen spijt. Basic cabin, en met 5 personen nauwelijks plek voor bagage, mar zeer geschikt voor het doel. Met 3-4 personen zeer geschikt. Tip: ga dineren in de Bistro bij de RSL!'

'Na een aantal hotels in Australië eens een caravan op een park geprobeerd. Uitstekend bevallen de caravan was van alle gemakken voorzien. Voor ons was het grote voordeel dat we zelf onze maaltijden konden bereiden in de compleet ingerichte keuken. Na weken achter elkaar uit eten een welkome afwisseling. De camping is rustig de zee aan de overkant en we hadden wifi bereik on de caravan. Kortom zeker aan te raden als alternatief voor een hitel/ motel niet alleen uit kosten overweging'

'Cabin was large and clean . Shower was good and hot. Bed was comfortable if a little soft for my taste. Great perhaps for getaway, but lack of WiFi in room, and eateries near by a slight negative, unless that what you’re after. To be fair storm Albert didn’t help, but did underscore whether location good or bad, depends on what you were looking for. '
