'mooi gebouw'

'Staff was great. Facilities were excellent. We found at check-in a piece of dirty dental floss on the shower soap tray. Not a big deal but this is a downtown hotel charging a not budget price. I know good help is hard to find these days but somebody should be checking the room after it is readied for a new guest. The front desk was told, the manager and housekeeper came to look and all was well…except, after they left, I found that there was hair in the corner next to the shower. Perhaps...

'We really like the Mark Spencer. A friend introduced us to it. Located right near Powell’s, it’s an older building and a relief to be in a genuinely decorated hotel rather than chain buildings. Good coffee in the lobby, usable gym, great location. I don’t know if the hotel is backing off the perfumed cleaning products or was proactive with our request to not have scented products used in our room, but it was so appreciated to be in a clean, spotless room that didn’t smell strongly of fragrance....
