'The area was perfect! Powell’s books/Shake Shack/Coffee shops were all within 5 minutes walking distance. really good sushi place next to the hotel. There is homeless closer to china town & at night we saw a couple but i feel like that’s every downtown area. The parking was $32 a night but it’s in a closed garage which made me feel safe. The actual room seemed old/outdated but the location was perfect & for the price it was good. '

'Prima hotel, wel oud en wat gedateerd. We kregen een gratis upgrade naar een junior suite. Nu hadden we een heel groot king size bed en een extra woonkamer met bank en fauteuils en een extra tv. Wel kreeg je pas warm water in de douche als je eerst warm water bij de wastafel gebruikte. Douche was niet schoon, spinnenweb hing aan t plafond, en veel schimmel en eea was ook stuk. Wel lekker redelijk groot zwembad met veel prima zitjes'

'The Heathman is beautiful and the staff are great. We had a few problems, though. We went to our room after being out and the door card didn’t work. We asked for help and they forgot about us. We had to call a second time. It turns out the battery had died. It took quite some time to get us in the room and we almost missed the performance we had paid for, next door. 'Really nice hotel with excellent room in a convenient location. The room and hallway were very warm, 78 degrees, and when I turned on the air conditioning it shot up to 80. We turned it off and slept with the window open which cooled us off but was noisy. We were told individual hvac units are being installed which would make it a delightful hotel. '
