Blokhutten in North Lake Tahoe

'Hotel ligt ver van alles af in een bos, tegen een berg. Er wordt vermeld door Expedia dat er een restaurant is. Er is een mogelijk voor -dinning- met de groepen, die daar zijn voor conferentie centrum! Dus geen a la carte eten. Wijhebben met de groep gegeten, maar geen alcohol! De groep wilde dat niet, dus kregen wij het ook niet! Het ontbijt was goed, maar wel aan heel grote ronde tafels met de voor ons onbekende groep!!!! Great location, very walkable to the restaurants, shops & cafe in Tahoe City. 'I have stayed her 5-6 times. It took us 45 minutes to get into our room as we did a late check in and the key card wouldn’t work. I was able to get a hold of their after hours line and they were out in 10 minutes. We thought the room was warm because we had been outside. Unfortunately our heater was broken and would only stay on 2-15 minutes before the pilot would go out if I could get it on. 'The property employs a unique self-checkin system. The guest is phone-interviewed and asked to perform online registration fill-ins. After that, the guest must call a number to get a door security code. All happened during normal business hours (before 7pm). So, I interacted no one at the lodge office. It's right across from a public beach and pier which was beautiful, there is also a restaurant. We also enjoyed the cafe down the street for breakfast.
