'For this particular occasion, I wanted the setting to be somewhat rustic and Forrest Hills was the perfect environment. The exterior of the buildings needs some facelift, but we were pleasantly surprised by the conditions of the rooms that looked like they had been recently renovated. Staff was very accommodating and pleasant food at the Hideaway restaurant was excellent along with the service.'

'Great long weekend. The house is newly remodeled with everything you need. Nice bedroom and bath. Kitchen and living room with a wood burning fireplace and all the wood you could need. Great view of the river with access. 4x4 not needed but low riders will not like the small branch you must drive through. Over all perfect stay. My only suggestion would be a ceiling fan in the bedroom. '

'My sister-in-law and I wanted to “get away from it all” and this cottage was the perfect little spot. The house is so cute, the swinging bed in the loft, although creaky to lay down on, was very relaxing- especially to read in the morning while gently swinging. 'This cabin was exactly what we were looking for. And the weather was perfect. With such a busy schedule I was looking to get away with my dogs for some mommy. fur baby time. We were actually there during the coldest time (lowest temp was 6 degrees). The propane fire place gave the cabin the perfect feel and heated the cabin amazingly.
