'Great historic hotel right on the river bank. The room was nice with a good size bathroom. The bed was a bit soft for our taste, but otherwise comfortable. There is not really a lot of shelve space, so if you're not travelling light, you might struggle to unpack. Every room has a nice terras. The pool is clean, but unheated. Breakfast is at The Mermaid Cafe, 2 door down from the hotel, and it can get very busy there later in the morning. Come early if you want a guaranteed table. Coffee and tea...

'It is a very unique place. I would strongly recommend staying in this hotel. Keep in mind dining room is open from Thursday-Sunday. Excellent food. Staff was so friendly. Roo was so clean, and a lot of history in the 100 year old building. Awesome place!'
