The manor house "Résidence Zielinger" was built in 1834 as the central family residence of the well-known and wealthy Alsatian family Zielinger in Petersbach. It stands out today, as it did then, for its impressive architecture, its spacious property - in addition to the central building there is a large courtyard, a barn and a picturesque orchard - and its special location in the middle of the nature reserve "Vosges du Nord". Residence Zielinger already hosted many a well-known personality, not least Emperor Friedrich III.
The residential building is flourishing today in its old splendor. Refurbished and renovated with great love for historical details, the living atmosphere of 150 years ago is also reflected in the furnishings, but at the same time offers all the amenities of today's home decor.
Residence Zielinger is centrally located in the middle of the Northern Vosges National Park. In the immediate vicinity is a bakery with a small assortment for your daily needs, the nearest shops (Supermarché and Lidl) can be reached in 10 minutes.
Interesting tourist destinations in the immediate vicinity are: La Petite-Pierre, Saverne, the Graufthal and Rocher du Dabo, Arzviller (ship lift), Royal Palace Kirrwiller (France's third largest revue theater). The Vosges National Park is well-known for its varied hiking opportunities with stunning views, its picturesque castles and the unique Marne Valley.
Résidence Zielinger is thus an unforgettable living experience in the middle of one of the most beautiful natural and cultural areas of Alsace.
