Classic New Orleans "Shotgun" style historic home. Lovely 2 bedroom, 2 bath cottage. The home is an entire half of a "double". Many original architectural details and lots of NOLA charm. Walk to Pascal Manale's, Charlie's Steakhouse or Le’s Baguette. French Truck coffee is across the street. A few blocks to Mardi Gras parades and the St. Charles streetcar. 5 min. to Tulane / Loyola. The location can't be beat! Brand new bathrooms! Fully appointed kitchen. W/D for guest convenience.

Awesome!
We had a great stay in this traditional shotgun style home. Note, you have to walk through the first bedroom to get to the back bedroom. It had everything we needed including a fantastic coffee shop right across the street! I highly recommend this rental!!!!

Amazing Mardi Gras spot!
Wonderful house in a great spot! Stayed here for a girls trip for the first part of Mardi Gras… House was perfect. Very clean, very cute, very safe location. Steps from parade routes. Will be back!

We enjoyed being right across from a coffee shop. It was a short walk to the St Charles streetcar and we enjoyed riding it every day. House was nice and cool after a hot day and it worked well for our group.

Beautiful home, great location
Nicely decorated, very clean home with lots of charm. Plenty of space to spread out for a family of four. We visited in 100 degree weather and the central AC kept us plenty cool without needing to use the window units. Loved having French Truck coffee right across the street. Plenty of on street parking. Communication was prompt and we appreciate the flexibility on checkout. If you’re not familiar with the term “shotgun” style - the rooms run one after another front to back, so to enter the second bedroom you have to go through the first. Not an issue for us but worth knowing. Would definitely stay again.

Convenient Location/Nola Charm
This newly renovated location provided the right space for traveling with our 2 teens. It was very clean and spacious with parking right outside. We had the Nola charm with modern amenities. Coffee was just outside the front door, with many other restaurants close by. It is just a few blocks to catch the trolley for easy access to the French Quarter. The host was easy to work with and very responsive. Would stay here again.

Perfect cottage to live like a local!
Family of 4 - loved our experience! Clean house, close to restaurants and other fun areas of NOLA worthy of a visit (Magazine, Freret, etc). Everyday we walked out the front door and explored a different part of the city. Owner was accessible and everything was just as we expected. Plenty of room for everyone - plus 2 bathrooms is a plus. Thanks for a great stay- can’t recommend enough!

This was our second time staying here. Clean and comfortable as always and a prime location for whatever you need to do in NOLA. We really enjoyed the convince of so many local restaurants in walking distance!

Great stay
We had a great long weekend stay. The location is perfect- a short walk to the street car and a close walk to the nearest grocery. The coffee place across the street also made the stay that much better. Would definitely recommend this stay for anyone looking to visit.

See summary
Loved the property however there was a few things that was not good. The persons in the adjacent home had children that ran about sounding like a heard of horses late at night and early in the morning. Then they were out in the shared front yard screaming. Very distracting which made our vacation anything but distracting! There also was only 2 towels for a 5day stay. Otherwise everything was fine

Amazing Location!!!
You cannot ask for a better location! Coffee shop with sandwiches and bakery across the street, Vietnamese restaurant 1 blk, Italian/Seafood restaurant 500 ft, Superior Seafood 7-8 blks- all with reasonable prices and awesome food. There is a steak house across the street also, but we did not go there. You don't even need to go to grocery store- just eat out or dine in! But if you want to eat-in, all the supplies were available. Great bedroom arrangement for us (3 adults), but could easily accommodate 6. We heard no street noise, and while I was apprehensive about street parking- it is a nice little neighborhood and there were no issues. Host was responsive for check-in, and made sure we had her phone number if there were issues. Easy check-out, and just an overall awesome time in this home, neighborhood, and in New Orleans. We did hop-on-hop-off bus one day to all the sights, went to Elizabeth's for breakfast one morning (20 min away) and scooped up a trunk load of seafood from Sue's Seafood (23 min away) before we headed out. Adorable property, centrally located to all that NOLA has to offer. Rochelle was incredibly responsive and made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. Make sure to visit French Truck Coffee just across the street for a great breakfast and perfect cup of coffee to start your day!

Love the neighborhood!
Home was clean, peaceful and quiet. I was able to walk to 3 different fabulous restaurants and the coffee shop Across the street is perfect. No groceries needed! For runners and walkers this is a great neighborhood and there is a huge park about a mile and half down road with another mile loop. Perfect.

Post-Wedding Family Stay
We extended our stay in New Orleans after our daughter's wedding. The accommodations were perfect for us. We loved the décor of the authentic shot-gun house, which mixed modern and original details. It was very clean with updated bathrooms, plenty of fluffy towels, and very comfortable beds. Also, the laundry facilities came in handy, as our 2 month old grandson stayed with us. Being across the stress from the French Truck coffee house was convenient and we enjoyed having coffee while sitting in the rockers on the front porch of the coffee house. It also was an easy walk to Feret Street, the street car, and restaurants in the area. We took advantage of the fully-stocked kitchen to make breakfast and lunch (could use a more ample supply of paper towels, tissues, and diswasher soap). We had a very enjoyable family stay and highly recommend !

Perfect NOLA rental
This property has the charm and feel of a true NOLA home with plenty of room for guests. Comfortable lodging in a quiet area, super convenient to streetcar, great restaurants, parades, etc. Street parking was available even during Mardi Gras. Excellent coffee and pastries just across the street! Host was extremely attentive to texts, responded quickly, very helpful. I’ve been to NOLA many times and this was one of the most pleasant, easy trips ever!
