'My daughter and I stayed here while participated in the 2024 Columbia Gorge Marathon (her) and half (me). This was the perfect “home” to base from. Close to the event, but not right in the middle of it all. In fact the marathon course passed right by it. The location was very clean and stocked. The beds were also comfortable and well appreciated. We would absolutely stay here again. '

'We love the Thunderhead Lodge and have stayed in many of the rooms. We love this place. The only thing I could say negative is that the pool is no longer 102 degrees. The heater doesn’t work as well and they’ve tried to fix it but it isn’t working still. It was about 92 degrees according to the owner who’s in a law suit with the company that fixed it. So hopefully they get it back to where it was because if it’s windy outside at all during the winter, it’s unbearable to go in.'

'We came to Hood River to visit and spend Thanksgiving with our daughter and husband. The location was easy to access, close to their home, and downtown. The place was warm and cozy for our needs. Furniture was clean and comfy. The bed didn’t disappoint. Having 2 full baths was a treat, too! Having fresh Hood River coffee beans made that first cup of coffee start the day off great!
