Welcome to Squatch Mountain, our cozy cabin, a true gem nested in the heart of the Northwoods. This charming retreat is wheelchair accessible and a perfect relaxing getaway! The cabin features two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with two twin beds, and a trundle bed. Perfect for a family of five or a four adult friend retreat. Enjoy the soothing ambiance of the surrounding nature. Located on .69 acres, it has plenty of privacy and room for outdoor games.
Amenities:
• Stove, Refrigerator, Microwave, Dishwasher, Coffee Maker, Washer, and Dryer available for your use
• Charcoal grill on property
• Five rolls of toilet paper and a roll of paper towel provided additional will be provided by guest
• Pillows, Blankets, and Sheets provided on Queen and two twin beds. Trundle bed sheets, pillows, and extra blankets in Queen bedroom closet, if needed
• Pump bottle Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Soap, and Hand soap in bathroom for guest convenience
• Five Towels, Hand Towels, and Washcloths, located under the
bathroom sink for guest use
• Dish soap in Kitchen for guest convenience
• Kitchen Rags and Towels in kitchen drawer for guest use
• All kitchen utensils and dishes available for use. Eight large plates, small plates, and bowls, along with five coffee cups, measuring cups, mixing bowls, Rubbermaid containers, pots, pan, baking dishes, etc. on site for guest convenience
• First aid kit in bathroom cabinet
• Cabin's entrance, deck, living room, kitchen, queen bedroom, and bathroom are wheelchair assessable. Guests would need to bring their own shower and commode chairs
• Six chairs surround the bricked fire pit area
• Two Patio Lounge Chairs
• Hooks and mats in main bedroom for helmets, jackets, and boots
• All new furniture in August of 2024
• In the winter a shovel will be in the queen bedroom on the rubber rug
“Up North” Activities/Exploring the Area:
• Located two-minutes off the grade and you can ATV/UTV or Snowmobile right from the door
• Cross Country Ski Trails two-miles down McComb Lake road
• National Forest and other Public Hunting Land minutes from the property
• Many Lakes (Boulder, McComb, Green, ect.) and Rivers (Wolf and North Branch Oconto River) within minutes for fishing, kayaking, swimming, and boating fun
• Fifteen-minutes from rafting/tubing rentals on Wolf River (Hwy W to Hwy 55)
• Ten-minutes from Bagley Rapids and Chute Bond
• Ten-minute drive to hike the trail up Hagar Mountain and see the beautiful view and waterfall

Shopping:
• Gas Station, Dollar General, Ice Cream Shop, and local bar/restaurants within five-minutes from the property
• A ten-minute drive brings you to Lakewood, WI that has many shops to explore and a full grocery store
Things to know:
• Shed is not for guest use, in photo to help identify property
• Dogs are welcome with a maximum of two dogs and additional $25 per dog per night. You will need to supply your own kennel, food, and water dishes. Any damage caused by dogs will be charged to the guests. We suggest bringing some old towels to clean your dogs paws if they become wet/muddy
• Contact owner directly to discuss possible camping onsite for additional cost. Also, camper septic dump on site
• There is one locked cabinet in kitchen, locked bathroom closet, and a Rubbermaid container in Queen bedroom closet with owners’ personal property, not for guest use
• Wood on property is not for use by guests. Guests are to provide their own wood and paper for fires. Wood can be purchased locally, one location is the Lakewood grocery store
• Door Lock code will work for the duration of your stay
• Window blinds are cordless, so you simply pull up and down from the bottom
• Fire Extinguisher is in the kitchen above the sink
• Window Air Conditioner June – August Only
• Ceiling fans in Queen bedroom and Kitchen, along with Box Fan in Queen bedroom
• Vomit, defecation, or urine outside of the toilet that is not cleaned up will carry a $250 charge
House Rules:
• Smoking is allowed outside only, not on the deck. Butts are to be properly disposed of in firepit and/or in sand container by driveway. At the end of the visit all butts are to be put into the firepit
• No Dogs on furniture
• Keep dogs on property and know others may walk dogs or ride horses down the road at any time. Also, while the road is a quiet one, vehicles can be present at any time
• No parties
• Not used during June - August: Thermostat is located slightly behind the refrigerator and is set to 63 degrees, adjust to your liking under 69 degrees
• Do not move or rearrange furniture
• No loud music after10pm
• Keep fires in the campfire ring/pit. Never leave fire unattended and be sure it is fully extinguished before bed and/or departing
Departing Property:
• Guests must do dishes
• Guests must put all bagged garbage and recycling into outside containers. Cardboard must be broke down but does not need to be bagged
• Lock all windows and doors, put wood block in patio door
• Return thermostat to 63 degrees
• Fire must be extinguished
• All used towels and rags to be put into hamper in bathroom
• Take sheets off used beds and put on floor in small bedroom
• All unused amenities are to be left on property for next guest
• Be sure to log off any of your personal streaming accounts you used with the TV
