No one in sight, but beautiful San Luis Obispo Hills around us; we were refreshed and renewed from this simple and beautiful space!'

'My daughter (5) called this the adventure house. We loved the open concept our kids loved having room to play. Each morning we went on a walk around the grounds visiting the animals. We met the caretaker whom was very nice and knowledgeable in sharing info about the animals. Check in was easy, thank you Alice we’ll be sure to visit again.'

'Megs has a fun guest house in a great location. We spent thanksgiving with family and enjoyed the pool table, games, fire pit, and the area. Hiking, SLO, beach all nearby. There is a well appointed kitchen for cooking. Megs is very responsive and warm, and the dogs are sweet.'

'My wife and I needed a place close to the ocean with room to spread out, cook our own food, and relax. This lovely home was just the thing we needed. It was just the two of us this time, but we'd like to come back with another couple, since there are two lovely bedrooms and 1-3/4 bathrooms. '

'My wife and I had a great extended weekend at Captain Javas Cottage. The location is very close to the beach on a route frequented by many folks walking or riding bicycles. Very short drive to downtown Morro Bay or Cayucos. Cottage is stocked with all the necessities and the hosts are friendly and responsive. Definitely on the ‘would stay there again’ list!'

"Vriendelijke ontvangst, duidelijke uitleg over waar de faciliteiten zijn. Daarnaast een welkomstdrankje en soepje van het huis ontvangen. De kamer was niet schoongemaakt. De hele deur zat onder de koffiespetters en bij de kast zat een grote witte substantie. De douchekop was niet schoongemaakt en de shampoopomp zat los van de inhoud (die was niet vastgedraaid). Daarnaast hoor je veel geluid van buiten in de kamer."

"Top locatie aan de haven dichtbij de Morro rock. Leuke bakkerijtjes dichtbij en restaurants. Kamer was klein maar prima, alleen bij aankomst lag de vloer vol met wat leek op honden haren. Bij navraag werd de vloer alsnog schoongemaakt. Het top laken van het bed zaten vlekken in. Verder prima."
