'We stayed at hotel Fenua for 3 nights in the romance suite during our 18 night honeymoon. Of the 7 lodgings we stayed at - this was by far the most unique place. Staff was very friendly & assisted with delivering early morning breakfast that we ordered the night prior. It has direct access to the water (but it is not very clear compared to some other parts of the lagoons). We were able to rent a kayak while here and also had one of our best spa sessions while on our trip. Fenua is one of a kind...

'I had the Raiatea room with kitchenette. There is a toaster, stove top, microwave, etc. And the gas station next door is stocked with most things for a tourist- toiletries, lots of drinks, canned food, microwaveable food, packaged cheese and meats, bread, some fresh food, and hot and cold to go food. The room is closer to the gas station side, so yes you can hear the street. Bring ear plugs, or I use my child's sound machine. Also bring repellent for everywhere in French Polynesia. There...
