We loved that we were a little outside of the city but close enough to hop in our rental car and visit the Sunday market and shops. It was our favorite home rental during our stay in France. The owner was gracious and helpful with any questions we had. If we ever get back to Amboise, we will be staying here again!'

'We had an excellent stay at Ballan-Miré. The house is really nice and well furnished, including towels and tea towels, BBQ, outside seating etc. The beds were done on arrival which is really appreciated. The house was clean and a good size, with two large bathrooms. The garden is big and really nice and sunny. WiFi is working well. There is a large supermarket 5 min drive away. No shops at walking distance. The hosts are welcoming, helpful and discreet. Overall a very positive experience! '

'Een heerlijk vakantieverblijf gehad, verdeeld over twee woningen. Het is ruim, luxe, iedereen heeft een eigen badkamer en alles is aanwezig. Het zwembad is geweldig, ook ruim genoeg voor grotere kinderen, er is een pingpong tafel, jeux de boules, kortom, je hoeft je niet te vervelen.'

'This beautiful 17th century house is a wonderful place to visit the most beautiful castles in the area. The house itself is fully equipped and exceeded expectations. 'Three friends visited the Loire for six nights. This property is very charming, and well-suited for two couples or two friends, as it has two bedrooms with ensuite baths at either end of a renovated home for privacy. Do take note that the stairs are steep! ( But this IS Europe!) There are delightful touches throughout. Elisabeth is charming and very accommodating. I recommend it without hesitation.'
