'The property is not located where advertised. It claims to be 1 minute away from the waterside theatre and therefore not far from the train station. This was very important to me and my wife who were travelling with several heavy bags and needed to be very close to both and this is the exact reason we booked it. However, it turns out it’s around 25 minute walk away from the theatre! As a result, we had to take a couple of Ubers back and forth and thought it only fair the host covers the cost...

'Een perfect guesthouse op loopafstand van het centrum. Mooie schone kamers-en-suite, een geweldige hostes en een fantastisch ontbijt naar wens en op maat. Om de Cottswolds te ontdekken is dit een uitgelezen adres om te verblijven. Niet geschikt voor invaliden, geen lift en 4 van de 5 kamers op de 1e etage bereikbaar via een trap. '

'A very friendly owner. The place was clean. The shower, towels and bedding were dated. I stayed overnight and for the price it reflected the condition. Good parking facilities. There was no TV which it could do with. '

'Beautiful little row of cottages with bedroom upstairs which was a nice separation of sleeping and living area. Well stocked kitchen. Very clean and all furnishings new and comfortable. Quiet location, walking distance to a very cute old inn. '

'Despite all the information you have about the location accommodation, I found it very difficult to locate. However when I finally arrived, the host was very welcoming and the accommodation was very warm. The only thing I noticed was that there were invoices from probaly a previous occupant in one of the bedroom drawers and some earpods left in the lounge. Maybe their cleaner needs to be more vigilant.'

'House was lovely and in a great location. Was very spacious and well equipped apart from lack of recycling bags and washing up equipment. Was hard to get hold of the owner and get check in instructions. I had to chase a few times and get vrbo to chase them. On the morning of check in I was advised to transfer a security deposit of a few hundred pounds to get the check in details. It was all fine but I was nervous we wouldn't get the details in time. Lobby en kamer goed, restaurant not so much

"Het hotel zelf is erg netjes en schoon. Kamer was prima qua formaat en comfort. Een fles water was wel welkom geweest. Al was de service in de lobby uitstekend, werd deze door het restaurant teniet gedaan. Erg lang moeten wachten tot een keer bestelling werd opgenomen (ruim half uur voor alleen wat drinken) en dat ik dessert had besteld kwam deze niet en ben ik na drie kwartier gaan vragen om waar deze bleef en bleek deze niet te zijn aangeslagen en heb ik maar om de rekening gevraagd. Eten zelf was oké, al was de ribeye verre van medium rare, was meer medium tegen well done aan."
