« When we arrived at Blue Lake Lodge no one was there and the place was all locked up. Tried to phone the lodge but rang out to a full answering machine. So clearly something wrong with their booking system. »

« 2 nuits passées dans un chalet de 2 chambres pour aller marcher dans le parc national. Chalets dans la forêt, simples mais confortables. Le restaurant est très bon, il vaut mieux réserver. Par contre, attention, l’épicerie ferme à 17h, c’est tôt. »

« This was a great stay between Strahan and Hobart and close to the Mt Field National Park, where we did Russell and Horseshoe falls. The accomodation was clean and very comfortable. It was great to look over the fields where the alpacas lived to the mountains. The accommodation had everything we needed to be comfortable and we were instructed on what was available food wise before we came, as there are not many options once you get to Maydena. Highly recommend this place to stay. »

« Unique experience as this farm is also the oldest golf course ( since 1822) in Australia. We were greeted by the host personally and sat around the fire chatting with a glass of wine from the bar. They offer a lovely home cooked meal, dessert and cheese platter also. Great place to stay, highly recommended. »

« This is a great place to stay. So much history. The library is amazing. The cottage was built in the mid 1800’s. So it’s vey old. But certainly worth staying. Even electric blankets on the beds. »
