'Had a great stay in Tayac. A few downsides are the short beds for most Europeans and the lack of air conditioning in the bedrooms (only an issue when it is 35 degrees for multiple days in a row), but the rooms 2 were spacious enough for 6 people. All in all a great stay with a spacious garden for our dog or to lie under a tree to get some shade. Also a spacious ground floor with almost all necessary facilities. Location is between the vineyards of the Bordeaux region. Bordeaux is within an hour...

'Séjour familial à 10 pour deux jours. Le gîte ne servait qu'à notre hébergement. Gîte très propre mais franchement vétuste qui aurait tout intérêt à être rénové,mieux isolé. Nous avons eu froid la journée, le soir, la nuit... Vraiment très froid même si nous gardions nos écharpes et nos gros pulls.. Deux salles de bain sont à refaire à neuf et une colonne de douche n'est plus fixée au mur et pour surajouter une difficulté pour prendre votre douche, une étagère en verre risque au moindre...

'Le pack complet. Nous pensions que nous aurions une piscine privée sur notre propre propriété, mais cela s'est avéré être sur la propriété du propriétaire et partagé avec le propriétaire. Nous étions vraiment désolés à ce sujet. Les propriétaires sont très discrets et très sympathiques et serviables. L'environnement est magnifique et paisible. Les grands supermarchés sont à une demi-heure et il y a un marché à proximité plusieurs jours. Nous avons apprécié le grand jardin avec nos trois enfants....

'House was in a lovely location. Garden was rustic beautiful sound of frogs in the evening. House comfortable and kitchen well equipped. Owner was helpful to accommodate a later check out. Shame half a toilet roll, and no soap provided. Would rather have had these basics than the local bottle of wine! Especially as had just stayed at another place with the basics including toilet paper soap and cleaning products in addition salt and coffee being provided.'

'we had a lovely stay in this cottage, it's in a quiet location but very near a good restaurant. The host couldn't be friendlier, we had everything we needed (the drier for the laundry was a nice plus). Bergerac, Bordeaux, Perigeux etc are all in easy range, the view of the vineyards amazing. A lovely house in a superb area to spend your holiday. '
