'Beetje vergane glorie, de foto’s zien er veel beter uit dan in werkelijkheid. Men heeft geprobeerd om nog iets van de jaren 70 stijl te verbloemen. Schilderwerk was allang niet zo mooi als op de foto’s. Wij reisde met onze hond. Deze kan je alleen fatsoenlijk op het strand uitlaten, maar dat mag tussen 18:00 en 10:00. Personeel leek ook continu geïrriteerd. Geen fijne sfeer in het hotel. Het dorp en de stranden zijn trouwens wel fantastisch.'

'Multiple slats were missing from one bed so the mattress slumped. This was rectified when reported. There was mould on the walls within two rooms which I was merely told happens due to the area they are located and they’d get the cleaner to sort. This never happened. 'Check in was super! Vriendelijk personeel. De kamer die we krijgen zonder zeezicht is erg klein. Ook is hier geluidsoverlast van een klapperende deur in de gang en van de keuken buiten. ‘s avonds eten we in het restaurant, de prijs-kwaliteitverhouding is niet in verhouding. 'Room 1 should have a non slip bath mat,a bigger mirror in the bathroom and a grab rail in the shower. Also the many old cobwebs on the ceiling could have been brushed away. 'Friendly staff and locals we felt welcomed and was kept happy. Food on the pricey side but that is due to the quality of the food on offer justified the price. Found the room well maintained and clean with basic facilities. Shower was always hot when we wanted a shower tea n coffee facilities provided and a TV which we didnt use.'

'The hotel is in a stunning position overlooking the sea and harbour. The spa is modern with a pool and nice outside areas to relax. The staff were just amazing and so friendly. Food was wonderful and we couldn’t fault a single thing. Highly recommend and hope to return on one of our next Cornwall trips.'

'We were greeted with a lovely warm welcome, and showed to our room which was spotlessly clean, if rather small, but perfectly good for a one night stay. Decor/furnishings/breakfast room really nicely done. There was lots of choice for breakfast (vegan options well stocked), however the was no 'full English'. Parking was road-side round the corner, but still within 50 metres.'

'Room could use a new mattress but the view and staff made up for it. We stayed just to visit St. Michael’s mount. We had a stunning view of the mount and sea. Ate dinner and breakfast on site, walked on the beach, and the hotel allows you to park until 14:00. I would definitely come back!'
