'We were shocked to arrive at a very dirty property/house with no towels and used linens piled on the bed. A call to the manager resulted in two cleaners coming within the hour, who did a passable job, although we found long black hairs in the kitchen and bathroom and food stuck on several plates in the cupboard. Cleanliness aside, we loved the charm of the house which we dubbed the Cave and had enough tools to prepare some meals. We loved having the grocery store a short walk away. The views are...

'We had a great time in Gozo thanks to our accommodation. We may advise the letting company to check the different lights on the terrace + in the stairs to get to the bedrooms.. Some toilet paper should also be added.. .. '

'Der Aufenthalt war sehr schön, die Lage ist wie beschrieben, ruhig und schön. Trotzdem kann man zu Fuss in nur wenigen Minuten alles nötige erreichen. Die Familie um "Joe" ist sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Sie haben uns super beraten und betreut. Kurz es hat für uns wirklich alles gepasst, es waren sehr schöne Tage, sehr gerne wieder.'

'Frank was a wonderful and informative host. The house was well equipped with everything we needed for our weeks stay.We were within walking distance from the Mgarr ferry terminal, and close to bus stops which easily take you anywhere on the island.The supermarket was a bit of a longer walk (about 20 mins) but as the weather was usually wonderful, it was very enjoyable.We loved our stay on Gozo, and loved our stay at this spacious, and quiet house.'

Attentive (and lovely} hosts Matt and Steph (i mentioned i would like to watch a U.S. news programme- instantly provided cable} really want guests to be happy. For older people like us who like to feel real life going on around them- perfect.A few minutes walk from a very good supermarket, fishmonger,wine shop. And the days drifted by.... thanks again guys! 'Fijn en schoon appartement, van alle gemakken voorzien,in een rustige villawijk. Met auto of Bolt taxi snel in centrum of bij het strand. Vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaren.'

'Gastvrouw deed er alles aan om er een mooie vakantie van te maken. Alles was netjes en we kregen ook voldoende tips voor uitstapjes. Dichtstbijzijnde winkel is toch al een eindje lopen. Punten voor verbetering is het wat verouderde meubilair binnen en buiten. Badhanddoeken werden ook nooit vervangen ook niet bij langer verblijf. Er is wel een wasmachine ter beschikking om dit zelf te doen.'

But the real highlight was the view – absolutely stunning! Communication with the host was superb; she was incredibly helpful, even assisting with booking our transfer. Highly recommend!"'

"Excellent location, very friendly staff, superb price quality. I was a bit worried about the breakfast after the reviews, but it was very good for a three star. Only downside was the "wellness" area. "

"The hotel is nearby the busstop where you can connect with several places. There is a reception staff 24/24 but I would be nicer if they were a bit friendlier. The room is big , is a bit outdated but oke.It was noisy at night ,due the guests , better isolation is diserable. The breakfast room is two houses farther than the hotel but is oke. you can leave the luggage in a room after checking out. so after all, reasonable."

"Goed hotel met mooie kamers en heel goede kamermeisjes, kamers werden dagelijks gepoetst. Wel veel geluid 's morgens (hotelpersoneel die bv. glas in de containers gooien) onder onze kamer (we hadden een kamer op de tweede verdieping). Veel keuze als ontbijt en diner. "

"De locatie is goed, op loopafstand van het centrum van Valletta. Er gaat continue een busje heen en weer van en naar het centrum. Het ontbijt is uitgebreid. De high tea is echt de moeite waard. De luxe kamer is groot, wel verouderde staat. Het hotel an sich is verouderd. Over het algemeen is het aan vernieuwing toe, je kunt goed merken dat er geen grondig onderhoud wordt bijgehouden. Verder is het zwembad binnen in slechte staat net als de sauna. Die is erg klein, geen licht en is de €10,- extra per dag niet waard. "
