'Our stay was absolutely amazing! What a unique property. Walking around at night was so much fun for my children. Incredible experience. The church bells are loud as the description warns and ring every 15 minutes but we managed to sleep through most of it and the experience as a whole is well worth the noise!!!! '

'The property is an amazing 500 year old dwelling. It is conveniently located in the midst of a beautiful neighborhood and kind neighbors. It took us a few days to get used to the beds. They are made of springs, so if you are used to sleeping on a different kind of mattress, this can be challenging to the back.'

He picked us up from the ferry to help with our luggage as well as having delicious food waiting for us upon arrival. 'This house is no good if you have any kind of walking ishouse. Firstly is the fact that every room is on a different floor. The master bedroom with ensuite is on the ground floor, the next bedroom is up a flight of stairs and so on with each room up more stairs. Secondly is that the house is almost at the top of a hill. You can drive to the house but you can't park, you can only drop off. You have to park next to the marina and walk up all the steps to get to the front door, befour climbing four...

'Everything was even better than I expected. My multi-generational family (2 couples and a teenager) stayed at this amazing home for a week. The original stone features, including the arches, are on the first floor and the renovations on the second and third floors are first rate. Everything was clean and neat, which is not always the case. There is a fully equipped kitchen as well as a washing machine on the upper floor, which makes longer visits a lot less stressful. 'Der Aufenthalt war sehr schön, die Lage ist wie beschrieben, ruhig und schön. Trotzdem kann man zu Fuss in nur wenigen Minuten alles nötige erreichen. Die Familie um "Joe" ist sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Sie haben uns super beraten und betreut. Kurz es hat für uns wirklich alles gepasst, es waren sehr schöne Tage, sehr gerne wieder.'

'Gastvrouw deed er alles aan om er een mooie vakantie van te maken. Alles was netjes en we kregen ook voldoende tips voor uitstapjes. Dichtstbijzijnde winkel is toch al een eindje lopen. Punten voor verbetering is het wat verouderde meubilair binnen en buiten. Badhanddoeken werden ook nooit vervangen ook niet bij langer verblijf. Er is wel een wasmachine ter beschikking om dit zelf te doen.'
