'It was welcoming, easy to access, comfortable and so very quiet. The set up with the units allows a unique balance between friendly interaction between travelers and easy access to privacy. 'A lovely spot - unique, private, and a small piece of paradise that you can keep to yourself. '

'We were here for only one night but could have easily stayed more. This was our second time here and it has been wonderful both times. Owners are nearby but give you ypur own space which is wonderful!Nice quiet property and a great tropical feel. Love the lanai area and also the kitchen area and meal options.with places to keep pur own food cold and fresh. Would definitely stay again!'

'Steve and Diane are the perfect hosts! Very responsive. Kula was an excellent choice for us. The nights are cool, the days moderate, the area lusher than down by Kihei. Good access to Haleakala and the adventure of driving over to Hana. All in all the perfect spot! '

The bed was especially comfortable and wonderful being able to sleep with the doors open (strong storm prevented us from being able to sleep in the bubble) but didn’t feel like we missed out on an experience as it was still such a quiet, calm, and special place.'

'Exceeded our expectations! From the easy check-in to the incredible breakfasts, the old-school pool and hanging garden, and an unexpected herd of deer running through the property, this was one of the most relaxing and tranquil escapes we’ve experienced. The town of Makawao gave us tasty afternoon meals (Satori!) and the beautiful mountain area provided plenty of scenic driving. Only advice I’d give is to plan to enjoy the space while you’re staying, as it would be a shame to not settle in....
