'the house is lovely: lots of character, nice big kitchen and lots of bedrooms. Also the outdoor facilities are charming : big pool and beautiful garden. But the house is situated near a very busy SS-road, day and night traffic noise. The occupants of the bedrooms in the "tower"definitely needed earplugs to sleep.... Still we had a wonderful week, Mottola is a charming city with good and affordable restaurants.'

'Enjoyed our few nights in Sassi’s beautifull surroundings and great atmosphere. Almost forgot about the neighbours’ dog already who kept us awake during the nights. I would check upfront next time if that dog is still there.'

'Posto molto tranquillo e piacevole ricavato in un casolare in campagna. Arredamento turistico base ma completo. Vicino al mare anche se serve la macchina visti i 2-3km di distanza, cosa comunque non problematica per gli ampi parcheggi gratuiti (e totalmente vuoti a fine luglio) dei lidi vicini. Mare bello sabbioso ma non super-trasparente come potrebbe essere puglia o sardegna.'

'Matera was our first stop on our Italy Trip. This property is spacious, well located in the center with spectacular views across the old town. Parking is near by, we paid 25 euros for each 24 hours, so 50 euros total, which was easy walk with case and no steps, which was ideal for us. Restaurant right next door done a fantastic breakfast and lunch salad which was reasonably priced. There are lots of places to eat around Matera so eating out was not a problem. "Amazing and unique location. Beautiful room and excellent service, the staff is really making you feel special. Also breakfast was very good. We only spent one night in Cenobio hotel and can recommend this hotel to everyone going to Matera. "

"Our stay at Masseria Santa Lucia was okay. The accommodation itself is very nice. We booked the Deluxe Suite and were amazed by how nicely newly decorated it was, with high ceilings, lovely bathroom with luxurious shower and comfortable bed. The swimming pool looks equally stunning with modern beach chairs. However, that experience got overshadowed a bit by the unfriendly welcome. The lady who welcomed us was clearly not in the mood to give her guests a warm welcome. That’s a pity for the quite high price we paid. The rest of the staff was nicer, yet not to the level of other accommodations we booked for our Italian trip and where we paid much less. Furthermore, I asked two times in advance via the booking platform how I could book the guided Matera tour they mention in their services, but didn’t got any response, although they contacted me via the same way for check-in. The breakfast is served in the patio, which is a nice spot, yet very warm the moment we were there (mid August), making us feel very sweaty already from the breakfast on. Last but not least, the hotel is situated somewhat in the middle of an industrial area, which doesn’t add to a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Luckily we had a car, which resulted in easily being able to visit Matera, otherwise a taxi would be needed, I think, since we didn’t see any dining options in the hotel itself."
