'Intriguing historic location'

'Lovely property with a gorgeous view out over the ocean. Check in was easy thanks to Manuel meeting us in a nearby town and showing us the way to the property. The house is gorgeous but some of the electrics are quite old and sockets is a few rooms need updating. This is a great base to explore the Amalfi coast - we had a really fabulous stay here.'

'The view from the patio is wonderful ... best in Sorrento imho. Entire apartment updated recently with new applicnces, windows etc. The property management team are very responsive and helpful and friendly!'

'We had a fantastic experience at this property. The location was perfect for us. There is a bus stop right down the hill from the house that takes you into town. Roberta was an amazing host and her son, Diego, picked us up at the port when we arrived. The property is stunning with amazing views of the sea. The pictures do not do it justice! 'Property was in a convenient location . Walking distance to restaurants and Piazza. Off street parking was a plus. Rooftop patio with clothes line was helpful. Not much in the way of amenities.. Second bedroom was the living room with a sliding door to close the room. Worked fine. I would stay there again.'

'The Literary House is by far the best VRBO rental we have ever stayed at. The apartment is clean, well equipped, and exquisitely decorated. The host was always quick to communicate, was a wealth of information, and helped us tremendously with our excursions. I HIGHLY recommend staying here!'

'We were a large group traveling together in Italy to find our family roots. This villa could not have been more perfect. We hired a chef for one evening, had great meals nearby and grew to love our hosts inSchiazzano Damiano was incredibly responsive during our stay and leading up to it for over a year! Highly recommended!'

'The villa was very nice. It was an easy 15 minute walk into the town with lots of shops and restaurants. Great support from the agent with recommendations for dining. Very safe. It is about a 25 minute drive into Sorrento. The local town is not touristy and very friendly. Relaxing place to stay. The owner was very responsive.'

'Had the most wonderful stay. The photos don’t do the property justice. It’s just so beautiful light and airy with loads of space. The views are incredible across the bay. Our driver Gino was so helpful and ready at a moments notice to ferry us into town. Max is an incredible host who helped with sorting out our tours and made it seamless. Just a slight note. It is quite hilly getting up and down the steps to the house. Although there is a grab rail. Hoping to come back next year. '

'Despite the fact that the villa is a bit remote, it is in such a quiet. peaceful setting with such stunning views that it is well worth it. The owner, Tony is so wonderful and accommodating, taking us to/from the bus stop and various tours and restaurants each day, it made the fact that it is remote not an issue. Both terraces have wonderful views of Capri and gorgeous sunsets. We sat out every morning with our coffee and every evening with cocktails. The indoor space was very nice with a well...

'We had a wonderful stay here with wonderful hosts. The apartments was perfect for our family of 4 and quite spacious. It was very clean and was very well equiped. The property was in a peacful area and felt very safe. The grocery shop was within easy walking distance although there was a small hill to return to the appartment. Local bars and restaurants were also within walking distance. We were there in October and while the days were warm the pool was quite cold so we didn't use it. There are...
