Splendore su Capri is an elegant villa of 160 square meters on two floors .It can accommodate up to eight people, is located at the end of the Sorrento peninsula and has one of the most dramatic and breathtaking views across the bay of Naples and the isle of Capri. In the town of Massa Lubrense, this place is in a little corner of paradise away from the bustle of the city. There isn't a point that doesn't offer a panoramic view.
The owners of the villa live in an apartment on the ground floor and are very respectful of the privacy of their guests, but if they need anything they are always available and happy to help.
"Splendore" is the ideal place for those who want to spend a holiday in total relaxation, away from the city noise. The villa is located in Massa Lubrense, the last town on the Sorrento Peninsula, a very quiet place but has a strategic position because from here it is easy to get to places of interest such as Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi, Pompeii, Herculaneum, Capri and Ischia.
The villa offers guests free use of outdoor parking for a maximum of two cars.
To reach the first entrance of the villa, from the parking area, just walk 10 steps, the first floor has a master bedroom with TV and air conditioning and a window that offers a magnificent view of the coast and the island of Capri, a shower room, a sitting room / kitchen equipped with everything you need.; Also this room offers the same breathtaking view of the beautiful island.
From the first floor you can access the second floor via an internal staircase. If you want to access from the parking area to the second entrance to the villa (the main one) you need to take 17 small steps that are surrounded by olive trees and plants characteristic of this part of Italy.
Before entering you will find a beautiful terrace, overlooking the Sorrento coast, equipped with sofas, rocking chairs and barbecue. In front of the terrace you can enjoy a green relaxation area with a hammock, ideal for reading a book in peace.
Entering the main entrance of the villa you will be amazed by the beauty of the structure and the view it offers, thanks to its location. The second floor has two bathrooms with a shower, three double bedrooms with television and air conditioning. Both the master bedroom and the kitchen open onto a spacious terrace equipped with sofas, recliner and a large table and chairs perfect for a candlelit dinner or a lunch during the hot sunny days while over looking the bay.
Continuing up another 14 steps to the "gem" of the villa, the pool area(open from May to September - depending on the weather). The pool area has a large equipped solarium with sun beds, outdoor swimming pool and a shower. No doubt it is the most scenic spot ever and the most relaxing, given the wide panoramic view of the sea and the Gulf of Naples, but also the flourishing vegetation typical of the area (lemon, olive trees ..) that characterizes the property. Why not lie on the couch to relax and listen to the sound of the sea that is not far away. This apartment will exceed your expectations of a relaxing holiday.

PLEASE NOTE THAT:
- Final cleaning which costs € 150,00 has to be paid in cash on arrival day.
- Should you want an extra cleaning, this is an extra cost and you can request for it upon arrival or during your stay.
- On request, you can also have, included in the price, a cot and a high chair for babies for all the duration of your stay.
- The use of the villa is exclusively reserved for guests staying at "Splendore su Capri", additional guests are not permitted.
- City tax is 3€ per person per night.
- External communal areas and the borders of the villa are under 24 hour video surveillance for security reasons.

Check in is from 16.00 to 21.00. Late arrival fee costs €50,00; the villa needs to be vacated by 10.00 on check-out day.

Amazing Family Trip
There aren’t enough words to describe how amazing this villa is, and the family was even more beautiful. 10/10!!! We had a beautiful 7 day stay, where everything was spectacular! You won’t find better hosts, who arranged anything and everything for us, private car service, capri boat tour, last minute dinner, airport transfers and the highlight of our trip the pizza party! Absolutely the BEST Villa, Host, Location and Views!!
ALOT of time was spent researching places to stay. Looking to visit the Amalfi Coast area but dont want the craziness, Splendor on Capri is IT! BEST DECISION we could have made! 1st, the Hostess Daniela is one of the most responsive, accommodating & helpful people I have ever dealt with. From beginning to end, she was there making arrangements for activities, setting up drivers (Lucio who was also AMAZING), making reservations for dinners. The list goes on. The property is EXTREMELY well maintained, CLEAN, quiet & your own little piece of heaven.   Your view is spectacular with a clear shot to Capri! We did schedule many activities but wish we spent more time enjoying the property, with a pool, jacuzzi & lounge chairs overlooking the Sea.  Take a short walk to the town of Massa Lubrense, enjoy some Gelato, shop in their markets & have a delicious dinner in one of their restaurants!  Daniela will make Suggestions, Reservations and arrange for transportation. One thing you CANNOT miss is PIZZA NIGHT at the Villa. We met Valaria & Francesca, Daniela's sisters, who were ALWAYS smiling, & her parents Gelsomina & Orlando.  They made us the most delicious Pizza & allowed us to make our own too!  We had many laughs, wine, beer & Limoncello (HOMEMADE)!  We did it the 1st night because we knew we would be tired and preferred to be spoiled!  BEST pizza I had the entire trip!!  All I can say is, find out for yourself! You will NOT be disappointed!  Wish we stayed more than 5 days!

The property is gorgeous with amazing views. It's just outside of town which is ideal for those wanting to be a bit outside the tourist hotspots. All around amazing and the hosts couldn't have been more amazing!

Really enjoyed the house!
This was our second stop in Italy coming from Rome as our previous destination. The one thing you have to first know about this place, is the hosts (in our case our main point of contact was Valeria) really make the trip. They act as travel agents in many respects and I cant express how important that is when you are a bit "off the grid" compared to major cities like Florence, or Rome. They literally planned 100% of our activities and if you come here you must do a boat trip. Must! Massa Lubrense is a really interesting and quaint town and made the stay even better. It's a small coastal town which seems to be mostly void of tourists even in the high season. While close to Sorrento is not that close so you def get a better feel for being away from the "high season" crowds. Since we did not have a car (and I would not recommend getting one) we used a local transport company (excellent BTW) and we also used the restaurants to pick its up for dinner which is awesome and free! The place was also amazing. The focus of the house is comfortable beds, a nice kitchen and amazing outdoor area, which I would imagine you will spend 90% of your time outside the house. If you are ready to take a break from the big cities of Italy, this may be your next stop!

AHHHHMAZING VILLA AND FAMILY!
From the moment we were greeted by Daniela and Valeria with huge smiles we knew we were in the perfect place. Everything on the property is immaculate and well taken care of. Beautiful flowers and trees and numerous places to relax and enjoy the view, which is stunning. Inside the villa we were welcomed with air conditioning and good sized bedrooms and bathrooms. The home exceeded our expectations. However, the family won our hearts and made our stay unlike anything we experienced anywhere else during our 2 1/2 week tour around Italy. The magical pizza night and private dinner served on our terrace were the highlights. Please do not miss booking these amazing dinners, which I would actually call experiences! Definitely book these with the thought that you will have TONS of leftovers and can make more meals throughout your stay. The family will help plan and schedule anything you want to do and they only recommend the best drivers, boat tours and places to visit. We can’t wait to return to this beautiful place and this generous and warm family! Thank you for everything!

Amazing property and family!
Book this place! The house is clean, has everything you need and was more than spacious for nine of us. The property is filled with beautiful trees and flowers and the view from the balcony is Capri - stunning. That’s just the property. The owners are amazing. Daniela was so helpful in helping us plan our outings ahead of time and arranging drivers for us and Valeria was our wonderful contact once we arrived. She’s a delight! Definitely book the pizza party! It was so much fun with their family and the scenery was beautiful. We would definitely stay again.

Great View and Great place to stay!
Our trip started with a pizza party with the host family. This was one of the biggest highlights of our trip! We had a great time meeting the host family and eating (and making) our own pizza. It was the best pizza too. If you choose to do the pizza making, I recommend doing it the 1st or 2nd night. This is because 1) you will get to know the family and 2) you will have a ton of pizza left over. The view of Capri was perfect. So many options to sit outside, watch the boats, sunset, and just visit with friends and family. Daniela and Valerie were a HUGE help arranging transportation for us and getting dinner delivered to us. They even ordered and delivered some basic groceries for us!! In addition, their mom even made 2 delicious crostatas for us and it was perfect for breakfast each morning. There were plenty of bedrooms and private bathrooms, a washing machine, and kitchen utensils. The only thing we did not realize was transportation was not easy (and not cheap) to get especially last minute BUT with that said, the hosts helped us get a driver. I personally would spend the extra money and hire a driver for the week and have them on call every day. Overall-great family, great home, and beautiful views!

No words can express our experience staying at Splendore Su Capri. Myself, my three children and their significant others just returned from 7 glorious days in this beautiful villa. From the very first day of booking the villa, Daniela was a wonderful hostess, helping me decide on trips to book, steering me in the right direction to be sure we had the best experiences possible, she went above and beyond booking literally everything for us! Private boat ride around Capri, private tours to Sorrento and Positano, private cars to and from the airport, taxis into town. I honestly don't know what I would do without her! Once arriving, the villa met our expectations and more. Not only was it the most incredible view you could imagine but the villa was spotlessly clean. My son's birthday fell during one of our days at the villa and Daniela suggested a sunset birthday dinner cooked by her mamma, it was spectacular. The fresh vegetables and ingredients from their gardens, the olive oil from their olive trees, the homemade limoncello. We also did a pizza party hosted by Daniela, Valeria and their incredible family. Her mom and dad helped us make our own pizza, rolling out the fresh dough and adding the ingredients, we were even able to put the pizza in the wood oven. We honestly felt like we were part of their family! Daniela and Valeria, her sister (who also helped book our trips) shared the stories of their lives and we shared ours with them. Don't hesitate to book this villa!

Splendore su tutto!
Non saprei da dove cominciare: non è solo Splendore su Capri ma su tutto ! Eravamo due famiglie (8 persone). Ci siamo trovati benissimo fin dal primo momento. Valeria ci ha accolto letteralmente come se fossimo di famiglia. Dopo averci spiegato tutto, ci ha accompagnato durante il nostro soggiorno con consigli e quant'altro. Di una gentilezza davvero rara. La casa è uno spettacolo, pulita, spaziosa, dotata di ogni comfort, abbracciata da ulivi, limoni, piante di rosmarino. La birra bevuta a bordo piscina con vista su Capri è tutta un’altra cosa. La vista dalla terrazza è "mozzafiato", tanto che siamo rimasti a cena senza andare al ristorante. 2 posti auto per le nostre auto (anche coperti)! Peccato che i 4 giorni siano passati così in fretta, ma se ne avremo l'occasione torneremo sicuramente. Ah sì, dimenticavo: la mamma di Valeria ci ha viziato il palato con una torta appena sfornata: non si può concludere in modo migliore. Grazie mille, arrivederci e saluti da Zurigo.

Exceeded our expectations!
We had the trip of a lifetime ! The Villa was exactly as pictured if not better! There are so many beautiful outdoor areas to relax, swim and watch the sunset! The Villa is surrounded by lemon trees and olive trees. Amalfi coast was very crowded so it was wonderful to have our private oasis to retrieve to each day. Daniela was beyond I credit and the absolute best host ever!!! We missed our connecting flight and landed very late at night but Daniela found us a driver, her fiancé, Lucio. Lucio also was our driver for a tour of the coast. He was exceptional taking us to out of the way places and an amazing lunch. Who knew exactly how long we should stay in each town and personalized the trip to meet our needs. Daniela had recommendations for delicious restaurants which also provided transport to and from the restaurant. In the last night we wanted to sit and enjoy the sunset. I asked Daniela for recommendations for a pizza place that would deliver and within minutes Daniela sent the menu and then called in our order . We arranged for a private boat to tour Capri and due to the weather our boat was cancelled. Daniela managed to find us a boat for a different day. Highly recommend the driving day along the coast and the boat trip. Daniela also arranged for a beach club day which was also perfect! Daniela did our shopping ahead of time so our fridge was stocked when we arrived! Our best dinner was homemade pizza by Daniela’s. It was all a dream come true! Daniela is just amazing

Wow! This home was amazing!!! Our host Daniela was incredibly helpful and accommodating! Upon arrival, Daniela showed us around the property and welcomed us. She offered to arrange for grocery delivery that arrived only a short time after ordering 👏 we did not have set plans for visiting Capri or Amalfi and she organized everything for us! She arranged a boat tour on two separate days and dinner reservations for us. We didn’t have to do a thing, we just enjoyed the beautiful home and pool with amazing views of Capri! We did not have our own vehicle so Daniela set up all of our transportation. The driver for restaurants and boat tours pick you up right outside the gate to the property…so convenient! The home is extremely clean, spacious and comfortable. This house has everything you need, laundry, refreshing pool, lounge chairs, sun & shade, privacy, air conditioning 💨, and comfortable beds. This was the highlight of our 2 week adventure in Italy! We wish we could have stayed longer!

Exceeded all expectations!
The splendor of the villa is only outdone by the warmth of the hosts and I miss it, and them, already. Our group of 7 adults enjoyed every inch of this incredible property and found ourselves trying to find more time in the itinerary to stay on site and enjoy all it has to offer. Throughout our stay, questions and concerns were promptly addressed and Daniela's communication and efforts both before we arrived and during our stay were invaluable for making plans, reservations, and travel arrangements. We also could not be more grateful for Lucio and his colleagues for their professional service in transporting us to many destinations throughout Italy. Alterations in scheduling and attending to the mobility concerns of my parents were met with patience and great courtesy. This was a special trip for my extended family, between the ages of 20 and 80, and we were so fortunate to have stayed in such an exceptional villa hosted by an exceptional family.

Wonderful experience in a beautiful setting away from crowd
We had a wonderful time in this beautiful villa. We were a group of 8 adults, and this property provided us great space to be together. The views are amazing - we enjoyed each patio, particularly the pool patio. The rooms are impeccably clean and well-decorated. We had a fun pizza dinner with Daniela's family - the pizza was delicious. We also enjoyed a delicious and bountiful homecooked meal by Daniela's mother. I suggest you have either meal at a time during your stay that you are able to also enjoy the leftovers that you will inevitably have. I also suggest that you shop before arriving at the villa so you are ready to relax in this setting away from the crowds that fill the Amalfi peninsula. Perhaps the best aspect of staying here is the help you will receive from Daniela, who is able to arrange rides, day trips (we did a boat ride) and make suggestions (and reservations) for restaurants. I don't know what we would have done without her (or her sister Valentina, who also acts as hostess). The villa is absolutely removed from the bustle of Sorrento - it's about a 20 minute car ride along a windy road. This is a wonderful place to get away from the crowds - if you plan to visit tourist areas, please plan ahead for the scheduling (and cost) of transportation, have a car (we didn't) or plan to take the local bus. Daniela can help you with transportation - it is something that could be problematic if overlooked.

Massa Lubrense Oasis
The Villa was amazing - great view from patio to Capri and beautiful grounds. We had a wonderful pizza party with Daniela and her family - great music, pizza making lessons and a special dessert. Daniela helped arrange necessary drivers and taxis; the Villa is somewhat isolated if you don’t have transportation. We all enjoyed our stay here.

Beautiful Location & Amazing Hosts
We had a wonderful time during our stay and were so appreciative of the assistance provided by our hosts! The accommodations were comfortable, clean and and very nicely done. Unfortunately we were there before end of April, so we didn't get to enjoy the pool or spa, but looked like a very nice set up. Daniela (the Host) took care of all scheduling for transportation, dining and excursions as we requested them. Such a treat and she had a ton of knowledge of our options and the people to see and use. Perfect! Daniela's mother even made us the most delicious fresh "Crostata" during our visit. Such a treat. If we visit this location again, we'd definitely consider re-booking!!

Wonderful villa with breathtaking views and outstanding service
This is a stunning property with magnificent views of Capri and the Bay of Naples. Our party of five adults enjoyed many hours on the terrace watching the sun set and the lights, colors, and boats of the bay. The villa is immaculate, comfortable, and surrounded by lush gardens, flowers, lemon and olive trees. Daniela is a superb host, arranging transportation to and from the Naples train station and airport, car rental, grocery delivery, boat rides, and restaurant reservations. Massa Lubrense is a charming, quiet town. Our stay at the villa was the highlight of our trip to Italy and we all would like to return.

Massa Magnificent
Everything about this rental was fantastic, from the communication prior to arrival, check in and the actual Villa, it all was incredible. We were 2 families (9 in total) and had a wonderful vacation on the Amalfi coast. Daniella and her family are incredibly welcoming and provided great recommendations in and around Massa Lubrense. If you want to experience the Amalfi coast as a local rather than a tourist, this is the place, everyone in the little town was very friendly and the views of Capri are stunning!!! Highly recommend this property, you won't be disappointed!

Vacation of a Lifetime
Our stay in Massa Lubrense could not have been more perfect. Daniela was involved in all of our planning and every recommendation she made was wonderful. We used her trusted driver, Lucio, for every day trip and he was punctual and friendly. Daniela recommended day trips such as boat tours to Capri, Clear bottom kayaks, beach clubs, restaurants, etc. Every plan worked out without a hitch. On evenings we wanted to stay in she sent us menus and helped with take-out orders. We also enjoyed the meal cooked by Daniela's mother on our deck overlooking the island of Capri. The villa itself was spotless and beautiful: pristine bathrooms and kitchen, comfortable beds, and the pool was great at the end of our busy days. The views were breathtaking. Magnificent. All around us at the villa were olive and lemon trees. It felt like a fairy tale. I can't say enough that Daniela was available for us from start to finish on our trip. We felt like we were leaving friends at the end of the week. Thank you, Daniela. Thank you, Lucio!
