'The Maison de Tari is a perfect place to stay for families looking to explore the area around Sarlat. We stayed in a family room with three small children and it suited us perfectly. All rooms had a separate outside sitting area with a large table. It had a good sized pool, a separate communal cooking and dining area, including a gas BBQ and a fridge. A great continental breakfast was provided that included fresh pastries from the local bakery, and a selection of local jams, cheeses and meats....

'This is a quirky and charming little property. We loved it. We had a two story room with large window and beautiful view of the cathedral from our bedroom. Our bathroom was on the first floor down a spiral staircase. Yes, it was delightfully quirky. This is a great place for those who shun standard square room.'

'The hosts (Americans, who settled in France a few years ago ) were very kind and helpful. They speak French, English and Spanish. The husband - who is also the cook - proposes dishes typical to the area for the dinner. Nice location, terrasse, and pool. The rooms are nice, but I would prefer a wood floor rather than tiles.'
