Gîtes – Margaret River

« A short drove from town but feels totally rural and close to nature. Kangaroos, birds and close to forest trails. Loved the outdoor shower and shelves of books, great coffee and plenty of staples. My son loved hanging out in the trees and exploring with the hosts young daughter - and loved the free dogs and apples we were kindly gifted. Comfy beds and plenty of space. We will be back! »

« An amazing and beautiful place, superb location, roughly halfway between the town and beach. The cottages are really comfortable, clean and well stocked with everything you need. I loved being able to walk around the gardens, stroll to the waterfall and enjoy the quiet. Highly recommend this place. »

« Loved the cottage we stayed in. Comfortable and clean, close to Yallingup and Dunsborough. Would definitely stay again. Only thing to bear in mind is no internet or oven but didnt affect us too much. »

« This quaint old world weatherboard cottage was charming and unique with its original paintings by a recognised WA artist. Being set in the middle of farming land allowed us to view all the beautiful local birdlife and the Aurora Australis at night. Our UK grandchildren were charmed by all the birdlife as well as the local roos and emus in the neighbouring paddocks. The cottage was well stocked and basics were provided. Being small there wasnt really any room for us to put our own provisions....

« Beautiful, well situated property amongst the pepper trees.Very clean and tidy inside, bathroom and kitchen modern and bedrooms are well furnished, would suggest that the front deck could do with sanding as it is very weathered. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others. »

« This home is absolutely gorgeous and so so comfortable (and very clean as well!). Highlights were:- Spacious covered outdoor deck with awesome daybed and outdoor eating for 4- well equipped kitchen for 6 with local tea leaves, coffee beans and all the herbs / spices you need- beautiful local artwork painted by the owners daughter- kangaroos and magpies / lorrikerts coming to visit each morning and evening »

« Mycket bekvämt boende med generöst innehåll i kyl och i ställ för en första frukost. Välutrustat självhushåll, bra sängar samt AC i allmänna utrymmet och fläktar i de två sovrummen. Duschrum och toa av god standard. Inget som skapar missnöje. »

« The property was quiet and peaceful. A muddy water spa bath is hard to pass off as full of soothing minerals. Furniture was past its best and water pressure nonexistant. I would give it a 5 out of 10 »

« Right in the middle of town. Easy access for everything. Great place to base yourself for a trip around the Margaret River area. »

« Central location to access nearby attractions with animal feeding for the kids was great. Quiet secluded location. Great cabins. »

« We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property which was well located within a bush land setting right next to the town of Dunsborough walking distance to get a coffee and shopping or Access the foreshore. It was secluded enough to feel peaceful and I surrounded by peppermint trees. We would definitely stay again as the property well suited a family of four with excellent Access in the shower for a tall person such as my husband who is 7 foot and good disabled Access should that be needed. »

« We had a wonderful stay at Ellensbrook Cottages. The accommodation was charming and well-maintained, with all the comforts of home. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. We would highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in the Cowaramup area. »

« We had a lovely weekend stay, even though there was a group of cottages we felt very private and secluded. Well equipped, we enjoyed the fire on the cold rainy days. Only thing I could suggest is maybe leaving a heater on before we arrived, was a cold winters day and it took a long time for the cottage to warm up after we checked in »
