'Cute beach house close to river and beach access. Home was spacious and clean. We were pleasantly surprised with a Christmas tree during our holiday stay. '

'A great stay at a cabin that was perfect for storm watching. Cozy wood interior in a cabin that accommodated five without feeling cramped. Beautiful forest setting with ocean view and a short drive from popular beaches. Hosts had the cabin well-stocked, clean and offered clear instructions.'

'Great location and beach access, nice views of ocean from inside and the deck, walking distance to a grocery store which also serves ice cream. Furniture was comfortable. Our overall stay was really enjoyable. Two issues however; 1. the toilet was clogged when we arrived and I had to use plunger several times-thankfully that worked. 2. there is NO OVEN. Just a stovetop, microwave and a small countertop multi toaster convection appliance. We were all set for cooking a 7-lb rib roast for our xmas...

'This is a quaint authentic beach house with modern updates. Fresh white paint and lots of light. The bed was really comfy and we loved hearing the sound of the waves as we fell asleep. This cottage is right on the coast--you can't get any closer to sunsets than that! The dining area overlooks the ocean, and there is a deck, so there were lots of chances to enjoy the view. The cottage has charming decor, a stone fireplace, and games to play. We appreciated the gas fireplace, the smart TV...

'This house is just perfect for two, especially if you're bringing dogs. The bed is very comfy, the house and kitchen are well-furnished, and the location is stunning. The stairs are quite steep, but as long as you know what to expect there, it's no big deal at all. This was our second time here, and we will be back again!Leah'

'We had a wonderful, relaxing stay and enjoyed our visit. The house was comfortable and very clean. We especially loved the views from the living and dining room -- perfect for just hanging out and relaxing while watching the waves and the sunset, and we took a few beach walks every day which was fantastic (very few people on the beach here). We had our 2 big dogs with us and the house accommodated them very well, too!'

'We enjoyed our stay overall. The views are truly mesmerizing and the kitchen served us well for two nights eating at home. I would have liked led clearer instructions on how to get to the beach as we had to figure it out in our own since the path down is about 200 feet away. Easily walkable but you have to find it. Also the faucet in the kitchen kept breaking and needs to be replaced. Otherwise, we all slept well and enjoyed the board games!'

'Great house, just the right size! Out of the way location in a quiet area with beach access just across the street. A harem of elk were our amost daily visitors. Privacy between bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Would recommend it to our friends.'

'Really liked the location of the place! Lots of walkable things around and so close to the beach. The bathroom could use a good deep cleaning and it was odd that you could not turn off the gas fireplace. It was still quite warm while we went and it would have been nice to able to turn it off. '

'We had a great time at the property. We rented all 6 cabins. The younger kids had some space to play in. Close to the beach. Very cute cabins'

'Overall we and our dog (Iceland-Yoshi) enjoyed the stay. The beach and the Rockaway Big Tree trailhead were not further than a 5 minute walk (depending on how fast you walk, of course). We enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings, and took advantage of a couple of the old arcade games and a pool table located downstairs in our “bar”. The kitchen is spacious and equipped with everything one needs for cooking. There are a few things that could be off-putting for some'

'A cute little home. It’s perfect for a couple and another couple. We were a little mislead about the access points of the house. It is a split level home the upstairs and downstairs have 2 separate entrances. The entrances to both are outside. So I do not recommend if you have kids. But for 2 couples, it’s perfect. 'We have stayed at this spot multiple times now, and love it every time - if it's sunny and beautiful, or rainy and cozy. It has everything you need and we really like the one room kitchen/living room layout upstairs, with the bedrooms/bathroom downstairs. Also great to have the deck when it's sunny to sit with coffee and a book and listen to and see the ocean. We will definitely be back!'
