Woonboten in Manhattan Beach

'We are from Texas. Long Beach is absolutely beautiful. The yacht was nice and cozy. Plenty to do on the pier. Excellent location. '

'This boat is definitely only for people that can handle the nomad lifestyle. There are no restroom facilities on the boat, but there is a community bathroom with a shower at the yacht club. The bathroom was very dirty, but I understand that isn’t the hosts fault. The boat itself could benefit from a good deep clean. Really enjoyed sleeping with the hatch over the bed open and looking at the stars. Security roams the place at night and we didn’t have to worry about leaving our swim suits/towels...

'I really liked my stay in the marina on a boat. I felt safe, the building with the showers was close by and the area is great! Walking distance to Venice, easy to cycle to Santa Monica and also going to the supermarket/restaurants was easy. The boat itself was ok, I have sailed a lot on similar boats and I feel a bit sorry for this one. It seems she doesn't receive a lot of love. Very basic inside, the lights in the forepeak did not function and there was hardly any cups/plates etc.'
