« We actually didn’t stay here but we did book here. We ended up choosing a different hotel and Carol was kind enough to refund us after listening to our story. We had lunch at the local restaurant there and it was really good. If we ever come back to St Thomas this will be our spot. »

« So here’s the thing: This place probably used to be majestic, and the more people that stay there, the better I assume it will get, from the revenue generated. It’s currently mid-renovation, and only one of the big houses is even open. So you’re basically getting a studio apartment (maybe there are bigger suites) on the side of a Caribbean mountain (my cabbie said, “this is just a little hill…”). You CAN see the city and the water, but neither is all that close so rent your own car or spend more...
