LAGOON POOL HOME WITH PRIVATE POOL MAHAREPA Moorea

Lagoon house with private pool in the heart of Maharepa village: supermarket (in front of the house), snacks (in front and next to the house) and restaurants (next to the house with possibility of takeaway) ), banks, post office, medical centers, various businesses only a few meters away.
The house has 4 bedrooms, 1 mezzanine with sleeping, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living room with panoramic views of the lagoon, billiards, covered terrace (with dining area and seating area) around the pool facing the lagoon, pontoon from which you can admire the sunrise and sunset, the coral reef, the change of color of the lagoon and of course the fish!
At your disposal: 2 single-seater kayaks, ping-pong, table football, mini soccer, billiard and pedal boat 4 people.
Many water and land activities are proposed to Moorea we will be happy to assist you!

Magnifique
Emplacement idéal pour cette maison en bord de mer située à quelques pas des commerces, belle piscine et coin extérieur parfait. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

Quirky, spacious, great for families
Plenty of rooms, great size pool, stones step to amenities. Albeit a bit quirky (lots of add Ons to the home and a little old) makes for great hid and seek for the kids. Pool was fabulous to cool off, with so much covered space to dry & clean gear after a day out snorkeling. Aircon was great in all the rooms could be more comfortable with one in the lounge instead of the "air cooler" Did get bitten by mozzies if we needed to open the windows for a breeze (as expected) would have been nice to have insect screens. Was so convenient to have shops just a walk away. Fab bakery/cafe "Caramel" clothes shops, Pearls and a supermarket that got daily fresh pastries and hot food and Albert tours down the road. We did have a bit of a storm come through which pulled some guttering off and power outage. These were resolved so fast. Was a little hard finding the right driveway to the home as there are so many indiscriminate ones, possibly use Snack Dider as a landmark for entry point. The home has lots of pots and pans, rice cooker, coffee pod machine, utensils. Maybe more towels as only one thin beach towel and shower towel each. But a washing machine & powder is there to use. This place was great, a little old and quirky but gave us all that we needed and some xtras. We used the paddle boat which the kids loved but kept close to inshore as i think the winds may blow it far. Snorkeling was ok past the reef which drops off to 15mtrs. Had a reef shark swim by one evening, that was fun.

A slice of paradise
This is an amazing place to stay in a stunning lagoon, its a very comfortable house, generous outside area with dining and lounge area. The pool was fantastic and so were the kayaks provided. Robert is a fantastic host.

Didn't stay at property due to condition and communication with host
The link for directions is very off by over a mile. Wasn't able to call host and responses were very delayed. Ended up booking a hotel and later found the property after translating a section found within the property. Inside was hot and had many mosquitoes. The bedrooms were all small, unlevel, and low ceilings, the bathrooms weren't nice, so we stayed at the hotel we booked due to location details not matching and glad we had another option. Looking for a refund, but host wasn't willing to do anything.

Return Stay
We returned as a memorial trip for my husband who passed away 16 months ago. We loved it when we stayed in 2019 so booked again when we returned with some of his ashes. The house was the same as I remembered with the addition of some new appliances. The spit could not be more idyllic and convenient to everything. Karine and Robert are fantastic hosts who respond promptly to messages and even popped their heads in to say hi once! The only improvements I would make would be new sun loungers as the ones there now are far too low to get in and out of and you cannot lay on your stomach if you managed to get in one. Also the steps from the dock into the water need replacing. Would be nice if there was an easier entrance to the water for us older folks (rock steps to sand are very slippery so take care when using them. Thoroughly wonderful 2 weeks!

Sweet House with even Sweeter Owners
We had some beautiful snorkels right off the dock when we weren't out with the whales. We loved the walkable location and the views right from the property. Robert and Karine are super responsive and kind. It's great to have so many places to hang wetsuits and other bathing attire to dry. The kitchen and outdoor eating spaces added to our magical experience. This house is full of character and quirky features that make it unique. The view is almost like being on a boat.

Nous avons passé cinq jours fantastiques au Fare Moorea. La maison est très bien équipée, propre et fonctionnelle. L'extérieur est abrité, très bien équipé. Nous avons profité des kayaks et pédalos mis à disposition. Le ponton permet des escapades en snorkeling : poissons multicolores, tortue et murène... Nous recommandons vivement.

Great location
Overall, the property was great. The location was beautiful and the store across the street was super convenient. We had a little difficulty finding it because the gate is not visible from the road, and we did not understand that. Communication with the host was difficult because we only speak English, and they only speak French. The washing machine ruined some of our clothes because it would not drain. Other than the few little inconveniences it was a great stay.

Great location, interior could be better
The home is in a nice, tucked away spot in a "busy" part of town with the ocean in the backyard. Unfortunately, the home is need of a few comfort upgrades to make it a 10/10. Our biggest issues were with the lack of AC in the main living area (which was hotter than the outside), lack of a dryer (clothes dry slow in a humid environment), inconsistent/broken washing machine, and smelly dishwasher (needed to be deep cleaned after I spent 10 mins rinsing the clogged filter). Both showers have their own issues but were usable. While the house is quirky and a little bit odd, it was clean. The owners were responsive for the two little issues we had which I appreciated. My biggest issue with our stay was not being able to use the property when we arrived. I booked the day before and after our departure to accommodate overnight flights. We arrived at 10AM the day AFTER check in to find the cleaning lady just getting started. We were collectively exhausted and wanted to shower and nap after a 24 hour travel day. We gave the cleaning lady grace as she had a job to do but we had to wait until 1PM to use the property. I've asked for a day refund since I paid for a day that I couldn't use and am waiting for the response. Overall, the house needs updating (linens, towels, appliances) but it is safe, clean, has a beautiful backyard.

All the reviews you have read are true. This place is paradise. Wow. You won’t want to ever leave. The front yard has snorkeling and kayaking and unbelievable night stars. Great rooms, all the cooking equipment you want and across from the grocery store and all the shopping. However, you will never know it, super quiet and can’t hear anything but the ocean. Stop now and book this place.

A great place in Moorea
Was a great place with good AC in all the bedrooms. When there was a small issue the owners had it fixed very quickly. The pool was fantastic in the heat and the ocean was feet away. Good snorkeling with many fish to be found. Very happy with the property, the location and the especially the pool.

Moorea at it's best!!
We love staying at the Lagoon pool house. From the house to the pool to the snorkeling right in front of the house to the shopping near by. It's really the best place to stay. Indoor outdoor living. Our host Karine and Robert were on top of it when Moorea was in the path of a cyclone. They made sure we were aware of what was happening and that we would be off the Island when the storm hit. We then stayed in Papeete at the host's other VRBO beautiful home. In spite of the storm it was perfect. Thank you Karine and Robert for being such great hosts.

AMAZING, LARGE, POOL, DOCK, LOCATION - UNBEATABLE
Iaorana, The location is ideal. With a pool, on the lagoon, dock to go snorkeling from. Supermarket is literally across the street. Several restaurants within a couple of blocks. Post Office within a block. Two kayaks to use. Two bicycles to use. Washer (line dry clothes). Large refrigerator/freezer. The hosts Karine & Robert were amazingly responsive in answering questions and dealing with a couple of simple issues. Caring, timely response like that is worth its weight in gold. We spent 25-days and loved it! Highly recommend their home! FYI-They also have another VRBO in Papeete. Maruruuru

Un séjour merveilleux !
Maison très agréable, les photos sont fidèles à la réalité. Nous avons passé un moment très agréable. La maison est spacieuse, bien équipée et bien placée. On profite aussi bien de l'intérieur que de l'extérieur. Les enfants ont apprécié la piscine et la table de ping-pong. Nous avons hâte de revenir ! Il manque juste un sèche linge (surtout en saison des pluies).
