On a positive note, the property was in a fantastic location. It was clean and offered a good breakfast. However, we experienced many issues, especially with check-in. When we arrived, no one answered the door or the phone number that was given on booking - in fact number from booking was not working at all. We waited around all day, which spoiled our first day in Lison and caused us a lot of anxiety. We got lucky because a mailman came by on our third time banging on the door and we followed him in. We finally located the Guest House and the cleaning lady let us in. She was not expecting us and had to call her boss to confirm. There was a lot of confusion about this and the parking. We were directed to the wrong parking spot initially.
The keys didn't work well on the front door and was wonky on bedroom doors (have to use key to lock from inside).
Instructions were sent late (after we already arrived) and said there was a key pad on the front door but there was only a lock. The keypad is inside the building.
While the room was clean, it was in disrepair as was the bathroom (paint chipping, stains on the walls and chair), bathroom sink wobbly, the shower leaked into rest of bathroom and hallway and flooded floor, which is very dangerous. There were a lot of issues that would stop me from recommending this property. Expedia needs to step it up because there is a lot better host accountablity on AirBnB.
