'Villa Rochelle is simply wonderful. The villa has everything you need and over many levels which lead into the many bedrooms. The kitchen is well equipped with all you need to make your morning coffee or a pasta dish with ingredients from the nearby shops. 'The property is charmingly unique. Although undoubtedly old, the rooms and furnishings are full of character and amazingly spacious. The balcony view over Lake Garda is fabulous and everchanging. All seven of us could stay there all day. The town is well situated for day trips around the lake and to the Dolomites. And Jeanne was gracious, available, full of information and very personable. It was a one-of-a-kind experience which we really enjoyed even more than the subsequent Italy/Greece...

Everything was clean and the hosts offered to refresh towels and linens halfway through our stay (even though there are a washer and dryer available to us at the house). 'Wonderfully located at the lake front, at 800m from Salo centre only. House with lots of character and stunning lake view from terraces and garden. The adjacent SS45bis may be a bit noisy, but is not really disturbing, on the contrary, it allows you to move around quickly (traffic permitted). The kitchen is rather smallish, but is guarantee for pleasant bustle. Comfortable bedrooms equipped with fans. Welcoming and helpful landlady.'
