Walk into an entry with a full bathroom attached. Two seating areas downstairs, one with a Roku TV. Cook your own meals with a fully stocked kitchen with a gas range.
Upstairs is three bedrooms and another full bathroom.

Driveway is two cars wide and 50 feet long. It is on a corner of a busy intersection. Keep this in mind if traveling with young kids!

This home is beautifully updated and perfect for up to three individuals or two couples and a single. Swedetown trails, groceries and the center of town are just a few blocks. The owner was super responsive to all communications. We have stayed here a couple times and will be back!

Very nice place
This is a great place to stay. It is freshly renovated and very clean. The location is good. It is close to the local grocery store and it is a block off 41. It is walkable to the hospital. There is a bit of road noise but it is not too bad. It has a nice big driveway that could accommodate multiple cars. I would definitely stay here again.

Cute house located close to many conveniences. House is updated and super cute. Sleeps 6 - we had 4 in our party and it was tight for the 4 of us to watch TV in the Room with the TV not sure how 6 would fit in that room. Overall a great spot close to everything

Lovely little house
My son and I stayed in this beautiful little house during Michigan Tech's move-in weekend. The house looks tiny from the outside but, once inside, is deceptively spacious. There are two living areas, one with a TV, and a well-appointed kitchen. The master bedroom and the secondary queen bedroom are good size, but the single bedroom is quite small -- suitable for a child or someone without luggage (this isn't a "bad" thing, just something to note if booking the house). The house was exceptionally clean and well appointed, including a full-size washer/dryer. The two bathrooms are beautiful, with large showers (no bathtub) and plenty of towels. And although we brought our own toiletries, the host helpfully provided hand wash, body wash and shampoo. A previous review called the neighborhood "tired," which is unfair. The neighborhood is old -- but so is almost everything in the Keweenaw, and Calumet in particular, so that hardly seems an important descriptor. What is important is that the house sits on a corner lot of a rather busy street (at least, it was busy when we were there) so that's something to consider if you're a light sleeper. It didn't bother us, but we did notice it. All in all, we really loved staying at this house! It gave us plenty of room to spread out, a lovely kitchen in which to cook meals, and a perfect location convenient to MTU and everything else the Keweenaw has to offer. We'll absolutely stay here again!

Great home in Calumet area
The house is lovely and very clean and new. It is a great location, within walking distance of historic downtown Calumet as well as a grocery store. We had 5 of us staying here with plenty of space. The house has outdoor space with 2 chairs on a cement patio, and plenty of space to park. It is right on the main road into Houghton/Hancock, as well as M26 to Lake Linden, with easy access to all points north on the Keweenaw and within 15-20 min. of Lake Superior beaches. The area is an old mining town so housing in this area reflects its age, but this home has been lovingly renovated. Communication with the host was responded to quickly. We would stay in this home again if in the area!

MTU Graduation Weekend
Our family stayed in this home over MTU’s spring graduation weekend and it worked beautifully! Multiple sitting areas allowed us to spread out and visit. Much better than being in a hotel! The house was clean as pictured and the host is very responsive. We would stay here again.

A great option
This newly renovated property is on a tired street in Calumet...but that's not a bad thing. It's cute and sparkling clean. The property manager made it very welcoming with Finnish breakfast bread from Suomi, butter in the fridge and an array of coffee/tea for the Keurig. Please note: if you have tall people in your party, the beds are made for average-sized folks. However, everything is there that you would need to be comfortable including multiple seating options, ample parking and of course the beautifully clean home.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The home interior is as pictured with quality appliances and tasteful, clean, uncluttered Scandinavian interior design. The owners thought of every detail to make our stay comfortable, including the Nisu bread 🇫🇮 on our arrival. The location was convenient for our needs and the neighborhood was quiet and relaxed.
