Resort fee which is fine but then services $ on everything and if you eat at the only restaurant on the property there is an extra "pier $" bc the restaurant is on the pier. Not even a complimentary bottle of water in your room. 5 days in beach front villa. Nicest room available. Ragged out common area chairs and umbrellas. Very nice staff. '

'Mariposa is a hidden gem. It’s quiet, spacious, and welcoming. It’s super conveniently located- the Placencia airport is about a 1/2 mile away, and the Village is about a 3 min golf cart drive. 'I absolutely loved everything about Villas at Playa De Coco! 5/5 stars does not seem like a high enough rating. The airport pickup process was easy to arrange, delicious food, gorgeous property along with a beautiful beach/multiple pools, and the staff are all so nice. Luxe uitstraling gaf ons een luxe gevoel Wat wel jammer was: personeel steeds heel welwillend, bv dat iets het niet doet of een taxi bellen. Maar dan werd het toch vergeten, taxi te laat, ijsblokjesmachine zelf gerepareerd. Terwijl het niet druk was. In het appartement: lamp op balkon mist, droogrek mist, weinig glaswerk (geen wijn-of bierglazen)'

'This is a gem of a quiet, accommodation spot with a nice sandy beach, small pool, a good restaurant and nice swimming in the ocean out front. The accommodation huts are perfect, the beds are decent and we felt as if we had our own private resort for some enjoyed R&R. It’s a short drive away from Placencia but well worth it for this experience. Kids loved the pool, paddle boards, hammocks and large beach area. I definitely recommend this place!! '

'Naia resort was just what we were looking for! It is absolutely magical. Our beach front bungalow was truly breathtaking. It was immaculate, well kept, looked brand new even though it is ten years old and sooooo spacious. The bed was super comfortable, lots of pillows and soft cotton bedding. The outdoor shower was the best!!!!! Oh, if only we could have one at home. Housekeeping came every day and did a splendid job. We are neat freaks and it was just perfect!
