'When we arrived at the Azaria Hotel, we discovered that a man named Samson or Samuel had sold our reservation to another person, so we were left stranded. It was a really traumatic experience. Corruption at its best. Also the pictures of the hotel do not depict what the hotel actually looks like.'

'I’m sorry but this was the worst bed experience I have ever had at a hotel or apartment. The bed is hard as a rock I had to pile up blankets and pillows to sleep on top of. We left for two nights and slept on the island just to get a better bed!! The house next door is a complete disaster. My jeans were moved and no one was at the desk to handle issues after like 8pm. 'The upsides: The room was great - roomy, beautiful and with one of the most comfortable beds ever! The staff was very helpful. I have never sent out my laundry at a hotel before and was a bit skeptical, but I got it back the same day in excellent condition. There is a very good Thai restaurant onsite, and fortunately for me, it was just a few steps away from my room. I could sit there, or take back (or have sent back) a drink or bite to my room. 'Both me and my husband enjoyed our stay at Jamari. We had the penthouse which was a beautiful place. No matter where you stay in Nigeria, you will have unstable WiFi and data. Luckily, me and my husband who’s from Nigeria worked around it. The staff and the property were extremely pleasant. I can’t wait to come back to Jamari again. '
