La cabane arcadienne à Bishop Branch Creek

Construit à l'été 2017, l'emplacement d'Arcadian Cabin dans la zone sans dérive du sud-ouest du Wisconsin témoigne d'une véritable atmosphère de parc. Crystal Creek et Bishop Branch Creek sont tous deux situés à quelques pas du pont couvert. La propriété (3 + acres) dispose d'une cour parfaite pour les feux de camp (bois de chauffage fourni), observation des étoiles, jeux de pelouse, ou tout simplement se prélasser et se détendre. De plus, 58 acres de terrains publics adjacents à la propriété sont disponibles pour la randonnée, la pêche, la chasse, la raquette, l'observation des oiseaux et d'autres activités de plein air - pas besoin de conduire, toutes ces activités sont accessibles sur place. porte.

À la fin de la journée, la cabine 16'x28 'dotée d'un plafond de 18 pieds dans la pièce principale vous accueillera et jusqu'à cinq invités supplémentaires (six couchages). Les deux chambres, salle de bains, cuisine complète, chauffage électrique, baignoire et douche, appareils électriques, télévision par satellite, WiFi, et bien d'autres fonctionnalités rendront votre séjour agréable et sans stress.

L'emplacement de l'Arcadian est idéal pour tous les besoins des voyageurs. Viroqua, le chef-lieu du comté de Vernon, se trouve à moins de 5 miles et compte de nombreux magasins, festivals, un parcours de golf difficile et des restaurants de haute qualité disponibles. En plus du terrain public à la porte d'entrée, la réserve Kickapoo Valley est à moins de 10 minutes - canoë, randonnée, chasse, pêche et de nombreuses autres activités de plein air et bien plus de 8 000 acres à parcourir.

Nous avons ajouté un hangar de stockage à la propriété où vous pouvez verrouiller une partie de votre équipement et sécher vos waders. Il y a aussi des jeux de triage, le barbecue au charbon et d’autres objets dans le hangar de stockage que vous pouvez utiliser.

Restaurants primés, Kickapoo Coffee, plusieurs vignobles (Vernon Vineyards, Branches Winery), cinéma, marché fermier saisonnier, antiquaires et boutiques spécialisées, et The Historic Temple Theatre sont quelques-unes des attractions locales à quelques minutes de The Arcadian. Le fleuve Mississippi est à 30 minutes et les plus grandes villes comme La Crosse et Madison sont facilement accessibles par la State Highway 14.

Great Fishing Location

This was a beautiful cabin and a great location for fishing the Driftless. Cabin was spotless and comfortable. We’ve stayed in many different VRBOs the last 4 years in and around Viroqua and the Arcadian was by far our favorite.

Girls Weekend

This was such a cozy, clean, welcoming little cabin in a quiet valley only a 10-minute drive (at most) into Viroqua. Lovely big table for crafts, puzzles, knitting, games, or just sitting and chatting! Tons of natural light!!Word of caution that most of the extra beds are upstairs, so people sleeping upstairs should be comfortable climbing the ladder.I would definitely stay here again! Thank you, Jake and Becky, for sharing your slice of paradise with us and for being such welcoming hosts! Little cup of cocoa for the soul.

Winter Wonderland at the Arcadian

This was my second stay at the Arcadian. It was just as pleasant and relaxing as my first. Winter as opposed to late Spring, but the Arcadian was just as comfortable, conveniently and practically supplied and furnished with all the amenities an individual, couple or small family may need. Warm and cozy inside while it was cold and snowy outside.Winter adds a whole new perspective and beauty to the Driftless region. The Arcadian Cabin is situated in the perfect location to experience that beauty: a nice large clearing, surrounded by wooded hills and nestled alongside two small creeks.I'm hoping for more pleasant stays at the Arcadian in the future.

We loved our stay at The Arcadian. Perfect for nature lovers looking for outdoor activities, and also perfect for people who want to visit town nearby—at just 8 minutes away, it’s the best of both worlds. Nice cabin/location. Beware of ladder access to 2nd BR, No Trespassing signs on stream in photo

This is a great cabin for a related couple using only the main bedroom and not planning on cooking full meals. Access to the 2nd bedroom requires climbing an 8-foot ladder. Climbing up/down the ladder to access your belongings or using the bathroom is unsafe and frustrating. While there is a picture of the ladder in the property description, the ladder is not shown in the 2nd bedroom photos. There is a picture showing of the BR with the top of the ladder but it's not obvious this is the only access. We were looking for a cabin with "walk out the front door" flyfishing access. This property looked perfect with Bishop Branch several hundred feet away. Unf the photos in the description are inaccurate because they don't show the No Trespassing signs on both sides and hose strung across the stream. I sent an email describing these and other issues. VRBO limits reviews to 1500 characters so I'm only mentioning a few of the issues here. The host called me (I prefer email) to tell me we should have reached out about the condition of the cookware (nonstick pans shedding nonstick material) and they would have replaced. Since we were already cooking dinner that wouldn't have helped. We expected usable cookware in an Exceptional VRBO property. During the call with the host, I brought up the inaccurate stream and 2nd bedroom ladder photos. After15 frustrating minutes of back and forth I gave up, said goodbye and hung up. Nice property, nice people not a premium experience

Driftless Dream Location

This is a perfect spot to enjoy all that the Driftless has to offer! The place is located perfectly out of town but an easy jaunt in if you want to go to eat or enjoy Viroqua! The fishing was excellent even right out front, if ya know how to find them! The Driftless Angler can help ya out if needed! We will be back soon!

Excellent Property

We thoroughly enjoyed our family getaway at the Arcadian. The cabin was clean and cozy. The property is so serene with the stream and surrounding trees. Nighttime fires and stargazing were amazing. Would definitely recommend a stay and we hope to return someday.

Myself and my three daughters stayed here for a girls' weekend. The property was very private, but still close to multiple small towns. Everything was very clean, everything we needed was provided, and we had a wonderful time. Would highly recommend!

What a place. If you’re looking for a babbling brook, birds singing, crickets chirping, stars shining, hammock swinging, glowing fire kinda place, you will find it here! And did I mention a clean and tastefully decorated cabin? Yup! You get that too. We were pleasantly surprised by all the extras this place had to offer. And the hosts were wonderful to communicate with and took care of a need above and beyond what we asked. Took day trips to neighboring towns and then right back to this sweet little place. Easy run into town for anything you need. Storage shed was great for our bikes (local bike shop was so helpful in finding good trails). Good coffee at the Food Coop and shorter lines than Wonderstate. We went in Sept and leaves were just starting to turn and almost no mosquitoes, even by the brook (which is worth the trip alone, so peaceful and relaxing). Beautiful scenic drives. County Road D is great to stop at some of the Amish farms for goodies. Love the variety this area of WI gives you.

We had a wedding in the area and decided to book this cabin instead of a hotel and turned out to be the best decision! The cabin was clean and the lot was beautiful! We didn’t have much time to hang around, but I’d love to go back someday!

Beautiful cabin!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Arcadian! The cabin was just like the photos. It’s not large, but was good for 4 people, especially since we were outside a lot. The ladder to the loft is steep, but that can be an adventure for the kids! Cute bedroom with 3 beds up there! The two window a/c units cooled the space down without any problems. We enjoyed just sitting on the porch and looking out over the large yard. We tried fishing in the creeks, but the water was very low, so no luck. We enjoyed our lunch at the Driftless Cafe and a canoe trip up and down the Kickapoo River.through Wildcat Mountain State Park. This was a very nice cabin for a relaxing getaway!

A very pleasant place to stay a night (or two)!

We stayed here for the weekend and really enjoyed the cabin as well as the area! The Driftless is beautiful and was a much needed oasis of enjoyment in a busy time of life for us. The cabin was clean and comfortable, with all the basics and some of the extras you need to have a great stay. Check in was simple and check out too...made the whole process simple and didn't get in the way of experience in the leasst. It really was a beautiful setting and we sat out and watched the stars on our final evening. (We just missed the northern lights :( ) We would stay here again for sure!

The Arcadian Cabin is absolutely fantastic. The setting is beautiful with the lush grass, wildlife, fire pit and Cook creek. I could have sat for hours just listening to the water. The cabin itself is absolutely the cleanest vacation rental we have ever had. It is spotless! Jake and Becky were delightful hosts who went above and beyond by sending us suggestions for delicious meals and great fishing spots. We highly recommend this rental if you're looking for a perfect place in the Viroqua area.
