'I loved the oak trees and the birds. Our site had an amazing view of the ocean as we were on the 3rd floor. We saw humpback whales, dolphins, pelicans, terns, grebes, and more. We appreciated our time there and intend to return.'

'We spent a week here July of '24. The property itself was lovely. It had a few nicks here and there, though. The umbrella by the pool had a broken arm and the one toilet was finnicky. We all had a great time and would certainly come back again.'

'Very disappointed on the appearance of the house. I would never have rented the house if we saw the external condition first. All railings were chipping paint. It looked terrible. Weeds all over the pool area. House needed a lot of work. The kitchen was not disorganized and not well stocked for cooking. The house suited our needs but needed work and was very outdated. 'This house was lovely and clean- the pictures in the listing do not do it justice! Each guest room was neat and a decent size and there were so many beds, so you can sleep quite a few people here! We loved having a washer and dryer. This was one of the most well-stocked kitchens I have ever had at a beach house- adequate serving utensils, mixing bowls, pans, etc. The location is north in Kitty Hawk, so you get to house almost immediately after turning onto N Croatan Highway. 'We very much enjoyed this house. Most important to us is that the house be clean and it was.It had everything we needed and the pool table was a plus. Lots of fun! I have only one complaint- you can’t get through a 10 minute shower without running out of hot water. A house with 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms obviously needs a larger hot water heater.'

'We only have wonderful things to say about our stay over this last weekend! The house overlooks a stunning, tranquil part of the sound, perfect for sunset watching and lounging on all the deck space. We filled up the house with our friends and their kids, and felt like it was well stocked with what you need, well cared for/updated, and made for a fantastic stay with 8 adults and 9 kiddos aged 8 months to 8 years.
