'I recently stayed at Royal Spa and had a thoroughly disappointing experience. The first impression was far from what was advertised online. The photos on the website showed a clean, modern, and welcoming environment, but the reality was starkly different. Upon entering my room, I was immediately struck by the state of the carpet. 'Modern well appointed and nicely decorated room with comfortable bed. On arrival we had expected to meet the host but there was a card with wifi and room number on a table. We missed the personal touch we had experienced at other locations. Breakfast was mostly self help but the cooked breakfast was requested and served. A short drive to pub restaurants is better than walking to them. Good location for trips to the islands or cliffs.'
