Sisters getaway
We were looking for something "in nature". This property did not disappoint. It was so peaceful, felt like a treehouse as when you are on the back balcony you are up in the trees. The walking paths were a little too rustic for my liking but was great for sister #3. She even took 3 chairs and a small table down the outdoor steps to one of the paths and made a cute breakfast spot to have our morning coffee in the woods. Super quiet at night, no issues at all. We didn't heed the warnings on the GPS instructions so we ended up down a bunch of secluded one lane dirt roads on the way, but heading home was a breeze. We heard if you do GOOGLE MAPS, they will only take you through main roads, none of those off road dirt roads, so take note! We headed to Berlin to do some shopping one of the days, was about a 30 min drive from the cabin. The hot tub was very relaxing! Great stay!

Amazing
We came up for my nieces wedding. She got married at the Moachian tree house. The house was so nice and peaceful. I enjoyed listening to all the sounds of nature. The hot tub was amazing especially the night we got there after driving for 8 hours it was nice to unwind in the hot tub.

Mom/daughter getaway
The cabin is just as described. The host do a nice job of accommodating their guest. The snacks, farm fresh eggs, cold drinks, dog treats, toys, leashes, etc. are a welcoming touch. The beds are very comfortable, too. This trip was for my mom and I, so I very much appreciated the host offering to start a camp fire for us. It's a very quiet location. You truly unwind from the electronic world-- there is NO CELL reception!! Directions can be a little tricky to find their location. However, I found if you put in the address of the winery they mention (in their directions) it makes it much easier to find them from any location. The winery is very close to the entrance drive (dirt road) that leads the 1.25 miles straight back to the cabin. Overall, I would happily recommend them as a lovely place to unwind and enjoy nature. To the host, thank you for all you do to make your guest feel welcomed, comfortable, and relaxed!!

Indeed a Retreat!
The house was very clean and the kitchen well stocked. The trails around the house were fun and gave us a nice, gentle workout as we went up and down hills. Very well tended trails. The house itself was cozy. We couldn't figure out how to get the fireplace going (the first night was chilly in Ohio) but it wasn't necessary. The hot tub was a fantastic relief from the long drive up from Georgia. There were even amenities for our dogs: a tray for bowls and a few treats. Treats for the humans on the kitchen table also, a nice touch. We stay in houses and cabins whenever possible and this ranks among the best kept we've rented. (Keep an eye out for Amish, who are plenty in this area. They use horse and buggies and electric bicycles to get around so be aware, careful and respectful of them.) Highly recommend this cabin for anyone that wants to retreat down dirt paths into the woods for some natural beauty!

Relaxing getaway
We needed a weekend away from the stress of life to just reset. I have never been to Amish country but we also wanted a quiet place to stay. Ethan's Retreat was the perfect location for us. We were able to visit some Amish locations which are about 25 minute drive away. Hot tub was perfect after a day of walking around. We plan to visit again soon. Thank you.

Peaceful retreat
Everything was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed the cabin and the ability to share it with our furry loved ones! Mo tv reception gave us the chance to truly rest and relax. Only negative was the lighting. No bright lights near the kitchen table or living area. Made it difficult for us to read. Minor problem. We loved our stay here.

Relaxing & Cozy
This cabin was everything they said it would be and more. It was very relaxing listening to the wild animals, visiting with the horses, seeing the deer. Just being in the woods with family and friends and enjoying the outside, the fire and the hot tub was amazing. I definitely recommend Ethan's Retreat to everyone that would like to get away. This cabin was very clean and well stocked for us. Thank you again for letting us stay!!

The property was a much needed RR for us both. We brought our pups and found the property catered to them as much as they catered to us. We enjoyed the hot tub, trails, grilling out and the movies. I would recommend this property. We will come back again.

Quiet and relaxing
Beautiful cabin far off the road where it is quiet. Relax on the back porch and enjoy nature or soak in the hot tub. All the essentials are provided and so much more. Pets are truly made welcome with treats, toys and even blankets. If it rains, no worry; the cabin has cards, games, toys for children, movies, books and magazines. Close to Mohican for hiking and Amish country with great cheese stores and bakeries. Many wineries in the area. We had a wonderful weekend away from home.

We were stunned by the beautiful scenery and cabin. It has all of the amenities you could hope for in a home with the comfort and seclusion of a cabin in the woods. We loved every second and wished it could have lasted for weeks!

Great Stay
We loved staying here. Great property in Amish country, very secluded. VERY clean! Perfect space for 2 couples. We brought our dog and she had the best time. They property managers think of everything. We even entered to farm fresh eggs and a few snacks!!! The kitchen is small but was great for a weekend trip. There were no sheet pans or baking dishes, but they had every other kitchen/grill utensil you would need! Would 100% stay here again! Cell service is very limited but we were still able to make calls and send texts

Amish paradise
We had a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend here. It had everything we could want. Comfortable for our party of 5 plus two fur babies. It was great to unplug from the internet, play games, hike the trails around the house, sunrise hot tub and coffee time, watching the ponies on the hill and all the goodies from the Amish country. Thanks for the stay!
