'We stayed at the second property on the site, Lavender Lane Cottage, which was a lovely newly refurbished 200 year old cottage. It had three double bedrooms(one upstairs) an open plan kitchen, dining area and living area which was all minimalistic but modern and had every amenity we needed for our stay (Con even left us tea/coffee/bread and milk) We felt at home straightaway and all said we could live there. The bathroom was again modern in an old worldly setting, with plenty of hot water...

'If you like dirty worn out carpet, mop and bucket in the kitchen, vacuum under the dining table, chairs on top of the table, extra fees for towels and heat, corroded front door lock then this is the place for you. Booked for two nights, left after one, this place is terrible!!!!!! Leaky shower, lights burnt out, dirty, filthy Windows.'

'Check in process was horrific. fine print the receipt claimed I was supposed to contact them 48’hours ahead so they could coordinate my check in. Who ever hears of such a thing, when they knew when I was checking in and all that was required is sending an email with the lock box key? Instead then on site manager never answered the phone when we arrived at 4 pm and after 2 hours we had to get a room elsewhere. We wish we had just stayed at that place but since we has PhD ahead in full for the 5...
