'We had a vey pleasanr stay. The house has everything you need, is big and has a fantastic pool. It s not near touristic places but that makes the house very peacefully'

'Leuke ontvangst, leuke gezellig ingericht appartement met geweldig uitzicht. Weg er maar toe is niet heel makkelijk, maar wel te doen. Zou ook zeker een tripje met Mike met de catamaran maken en dolfijnen spotten.'

'Fijn huis, ook om in de winter te zijn (zoals in ons geval). Fijn terras bij het huis; heerlijk om in de zon buiten in te zijn. Voorzien van wat nodig is om er (in ons geval 2 weken) te zijn. Prima uitvalbasis om in omgeving te wandelen, paardrijden of (met 1 a 2 uur rijden) steden te bezoeken. Zwembad in de winter uiteraard niet in gebruik. Wandeling omhoog naar het dorp (Orgiva) neemt circa 35 minuten; waar je dan een heerlijk kop koffie met lekkers kunt nemen. Dorp Orgiva zelf ook fascinerend...

'We hadden heerlijk verblijf in deze prachtige villa, die heel origineel is ingericht. Het is rustig gelegen en de tuin en terrassen zijn zalig! In de omgeving veel mooie en uitdagende wandelingen te doen. Orgiva is mooi, Lanjoron vonden wij nog mooier. Heerlijk genoten dus!'

'Very pleasant property in a quiet village, well-located for the Alpujarras, Granada and the Costa Tropical. The house is modern, well-appointed, spacious and comfortable. Juan Antonio was very helpful in meeting us at the beginning of our stay and very responsive to issues we had with wifi and hot water upstairs (hopefully now permanently resolved). 'After being in three overcrowded and tourist-choked cities in France (Paris) and Spain (Barcelona and Valencia), the “Venta del Alano” in Durcal (close to Granada) was an oasis in every way. 'We had such a nice time at this property. The place looked exactly like it did on the website, actually the photos don't really do justice to the outdoor spaces. They are beautifully kept, spotless really, and so nicely landscaped. We ate citrus from the trees every day and made fires in the outdoor fireplace each night. Just lovely! 'Hi, we recently stayed at the above villa. We had a lovely holiday but there are a couple of things that I would like to point out. Negative Things.... 1. Only one fan at the property so we had to buy one for €20 which we left in the property. 2. No oven in kitchen. 3. Light in bathroom does not extend to shower area so showers are taken in the dark. 4. No shower holder so bathroom floods and so mop needed every time. 5. Washing machine is very dirty - thick grime inside door and on plastic...

'A lovely, quiet location for 4 men on a walking holiday in the area. Comfortable lodgings with a great outdoor area for breakfasts and evenings. After a walk in the surrounding hills it was great to have a dip in the pool followed by a drink in the shaded patio area in the garden.'

'The property is good, clean and centrally located on the flat area 1 min from the ticket office. However there is no parking and it is not really obvious from the large underground car park (which is underneath the hotel and you can see it as you arrive) how to access the hotel - instructions could be provided. We had to wait 10 mins ringing the door bell and finally calling the manager for someone to let us in, the safe did not work in the room, and we were not expecting room 2 to be bunk...

'Groot appartement in een mooi complex. Zeker in wintertijd goed gelegen en van alle gemakken voorzien om een skivakantie tot een succes te maken. Ook in zomer biedt hotel en omgeving veel (wandel) plezier. Ingang vinden vanuit parkeergarage was een uitdaging ;-) '
