'The hotel has a unique vibe, a mixture of old as the original buildings is around 118 years old, but modern as the rooms are modern and the restaurant is a pleasure to eat in. It is off the noisy Main Street and a short walk to the hot springs. Everything was in excellent condition and Paulo was super helpful in all areas. His English was great which helped us a lot.'

'This was my first time staying at a Socialtel since Selina folded. The experience was exactly like Selina - other than the branding it was exactly the same. Value for the price was good. 'Nice little place up the hill from the center. Good value for money, can’t top that. Hot water takes a minute to start but it’s there. The hill is steep but you could taxi it if you want. 'We arrived in the evening and we were welcomed very warmly by Bettina and her son. The view was amazing over Baños, very much worth the 15 mins hike up the mountain road.
