Blokhutten in High Wycombe

'bar / restaurant stuff was very pre-occupied during our stay with clearly other things in mind than taking care of customers. also attempts to either non funny jokes or scamming while paying bar bills (randomly adding wine and champagne bottles)'

'Nice comfy hotel, only a bit cold in the lobby at breakfast with the wind entering full throttle thru the whole restaurant/reception area.'

'The property could do with a little modernisation, however, we went for it because of cost, and convenience. We couldn't check in till we arrived which was half past midnight and the staff were very understanding and checked us in cheerfully!!! I was rather embarrassed that we were so late, but she was so nice. We were very tired, but, you can't sleep in a bad bed even when tired - So, the beds were great and we slept like a log!!!! The bed was clean, comfy and no issues at all...

'Have stayed at the fox a few times over the years it in a great position at junction 5 of the M40 The room i stayed in had been refufurbished and restaurant had recently been refurshished I would recommend the hotel maybe as a stop before getting into London '

'Pub in de buurt voor een stevig en goedkoop maal. Beetje stoere clientèle daar die op verschillende grote tv schermen voetbal volgen, maar wel echt Engels volks. Leuk!'
