This property was our halfway point from Le Havre to Omaha Beach. We stayed two nights here after getting off our cruise and renting a car. It is a small house in a camping area with your own parking space. It was spacious and had plenty of room for the four of us. An added bonus was a washing machine that we could catch up on washing our clothes after being on a ship for seven days. A drying rack was available to spread our clothes out so they could dry. No dryer. There is a full kitchen, though we did not take advantage of it. There is an added charge if owner has to supply towels and sheets. If you are local bringing your own is the way to go. You also have to supply your own paper products and soaps. The garden area and patio was wonderful for sitting outside and enjoying the weather. It is close to Sword Beach and many historic buildings and churches can be seen. D-Day cemetery down road as well, Owner does not speak English, and we do not speak French, but we were able to communicate effectively with Google Translate. There was also an indoor and outdoor pool available for us to use, but we just did not have time. The little home looks brand new and looks as if all the furnishings are IKEA. Clean and minimalist look. I would definitely stay here again, and I recommend it. I would have preferred a thicker mattress, but we made it work. Many places you stay at in France are very tight and small. This house offered a comfortable living arrangement with outdoor space.
