Beautiful, two story, Dutch Brick Home with period correct high ceilings, woodwork. The leaded glass doors and windows are but a few of the historic appointments to describe this charming home. Bath/Shower; Renovated Kitchen with Frigidaire Stainless Appliances, Vintage Copper Ceiling tiles and lighting fixtures. Goodman HVAC. Nice backyard with lit 10' x10' pergola, firepit, BBQ Grill and seating for 6. Parking in front of house on street for two vehicles. Secondary option of parking for one vehicles in alley behind residence by pergola, and distinct path and steps to back door. The alley entrance is located on Market Street between 3rd and 4th Street.

Already Planning to Visit Again!
What a lovely home! The pictures don't do the place justice, and that's because Paul & Heidi are always diligently looking to improve. Their heart and soul go into this place and it shows! We had a group of five girls total, staying at the Songbird Haus, and it was perfect, we had enough room to hang out in the kitchen, dine at the main table and lounge on the sofas for chit chat. The home is beautiful and we loved how easy it was to walk everywhere in town. The entire stay was just as charming as a songbird on your shoulder! 100% worth the stay, we only wish we'd booked another day.

The Songbird House was beautiful. The owners have done a great job maintaining the historical beauty of the home. Paul is very friendly and was available for any questions we had. The location was awesome! We were able to walk downtown and visit several restaurants and shops. We plan to stay again in the future.

Paul came to get us from the train station. He gave us a tour of the house. Everything looked nice. He had chocolate muffins and Stone Hill wine for us. Appreciated the rides to and from station. He was a great host. If we needed anything all we had to do was contact him. I mentioned we forgot to buy some root beer. He was so nice to get us some to take back. Enjoyed our girls trip to Hermann.

Great stay in Hermann
We had a wonderful stay at the Songbird House. Paul & Heidi were top notch hosts and even picked us up at the Amtrak Station. Paul gave us a thorough tour of the house and made sure we were comfortable. This house is beautiful and nicely appointed. Plenty of space to relax, a large kitchen and the bedrooms were also nice and roomy. The house is located close to downtown and all the shops and restaurants. We walked around both Saturday and Sunday and found it very easy to find our way. I would highly recommend this property and look forward to returning again some day. Thank you very much for letting us stay in your lovely home!

Beautiful Property in a Perfect Location!!
We had a fantastic girls weekend in Hermann, and absolutely loved our stay. The house was beautiful, clean and so many other wonderful details! You can tell this property has a rich history and the owners have done a wonderful job setting it up. Most importantly, the beds were all so comfy!!! Location Location Location!! We were within walking distance to some great restaurants and bars which was perfect for the nightlife. We called the trolley to winery hop and they picked us up and dropped us off right at the house which was an unexpected surprise. We enjoyed pretending like we were in college again and had a fantastic time. Highly recommend!

Amazing Haus!
Paul and Heidi are amazing hosts! The house is beautiful and in the perfect location (close to everything). Paul and Heidi left huge delicious muffins for us for breakfast as well as a bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived. They actually stopped by when we arrived to ensure everything was perfect for our stay. Oh and we accidentally left a few items at the house and not only did they return the items to us, they actually drove an hour to our house and dropped the items off personally! Thank you so much Paul and Heidi for everything! You are awesome!

Girls weekend
My girlfriends and I (friends since high school) enjoyed a girls weekend in Hermann for Octoberfest. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Hermann despite the cloudy, drizzly weather. The owner takes pride in the renovations he’s made to the property and will be continuing to improve the property. He is very accommodating to his guests and available to answer any questions or concerns. Paul (& Heidi) are the best!! Thanks for making our stay memorable!

Herman Octoberfest Weekend
This was a very clean place and had an awesome location. Check in was very easy and simple. the property manager was very easy to talk to and very accommodating. we had a small simple issue at 9:00 P.M. on Thursday night and within 10 minutes he was at the property and the issue was taken care of immediately. At this location anything that we wanted to do, in town, was within easy walking distance. If we didn't want to walk, we would call the trolly, and they would pick us up at the house. I would definitely recommend this place and if we make the trip again next year, we will be booking this place again.
