'There was not enough space to sleep. There was a pullout, but it's for one person. The areas around the property were not clean. Too many instructions to do the cleaning, a hotel would be much better.'

'The property is for sale. That means that there was less attention to the outside and to updating our room. The rug on our floor was a long shag rug like the kinds used in the 1970s. 'Very old, historic building that takes you back into history. A perfect combination of old with modern convenience. Our room had a musty smell that may just be what it is with an old building. Never saw a staff member, so I could not comment on the staff. Breakfast extremely disappointing. Keurig coffee, Sam’s Club granola bars, apples and oranges, bread, English muffins and raisin bread. 'Clean, quiet, comfortable, and the host was wonderful. We truly enjoyed our short time in Gloucester, and staying at the Harborview Inn added to that enjoyment. If we are ever in the area again, we would stay here again without hesitation.'
