Authentic Solognote house completely restored, on large wooded land of 2000m. Very flowered garden especially in spring and summer.
Near the Chateaux of the Loire, Cheverny (the chateau of Tintin), Chambord, Amboise and the Clos Lucey of Leonardo da Vinci, Villandry and its gardens, Blois and its magic museum,. . Beauval Zoo Park (the largest in Europe), Sologne Museum in Romorantin. Festival of the Chaumont sur Loire gardens.
Culinary specialties: Selles / Cher ash cheese, potato pancake, game during hunting, Tourraine wines.
I am a watercolorist and I recommend artists to come and appreciate our forests and ponds, the lights are soft and the colors are tender.
We share with you the fruits and vegetables of the garden according to the season. The spices are at your disposal in the garden.
On the table awaits you a local goat cheese or other house specialty depending on the season. Homemade jam.

Séjour très agreable
Une maison petite, mais trés jolie. Tout ce dont vous avez besoin est là et le jardin est magnifique. Les propriétaires habitent à coté et sont trés sympathique. Et ils cultivent de délicieux concombres et tomates cerises!!

High Recommended
Excellent Stay in Gy-en-Sologne We had a very nice stay at the cottage owned by gracious hosts Fabienne and Humbert in Gy-en-Sologne. The cottage was quite comfortable for 4 adults and a small child, with 2 bedrooms, one bath and a large living area and kitchen. The cottage is surrounded by a number of fruit trees, vegetable gardens and flower beds, all great for exploring by a small child. There are also a few chickens that provide great interest. The center of the small town is about a 10 minute walk from the cottage, and in another direction one can visit a farm with a number of friendly horses. The area is near the Cher River where one can visit a number of famous Chateaux and also the ZooParc de Beauval. We would definitely stay at this cottage again!

Merci aux propriétaires pour leur accueil chaleureux, leur disponibilité . Période de canicule, ils ont fait ce qu'il fallait pour que nous ayons moins chaud. Le seul bémol, ce sont les moustiques(c'est l'année qui veut ça, ce n'est pas la seule région) .Prévoir les répulsifs, les produits après piqûres. Séjour très agréable, avec de nombreuses visites à 30mn de route (zoo Beauval, Chambord....). I

Une agréable semaine
Gîte très agréable, typique de la région et ouvert sur un joli jardin où rosiers, coquelourdes, agapanthes ..., plantes potagères et nombreux arbres se côtoient harmonieusement. Un jardin généreux à l'image des propriétaires qui nous ont accueillis avec beaucoup de gentillesse et de simplicité. Le gîte est bien équipé et assez bien situé pour rayonner autour des différents sites touristiques, les grands et aussi les petits à découvrir. Ce fut un agréable séjour. Merci à Fabienne et Humbert pour leur accueil!

Le calme dans un cadre bucolique
Un accueil et un échange parfait avec nos hôtes. Le cadre est charmant, une petite maison cosy dans un jardin fleuri offrant une pause zen ! Nous avons profité pour profiter le Zoo Parc de Beauval situé à environ 25 minutes. Le niveau d'équipement de la maison est tout à fait satisfaisant. Nous recommandons !

Le paradis est à Gy
Un hébergement très agréable, confortable, cosy, calme, propre. Le jardin est vraiment un pur bonheur. Beaucoup de randonnées, de balades en vélo et de lieux de visites autour de Gy. L'hôte est une personne charmante, généreuse et passionnée, tout en étant discrète. J'ai été ravie de faire sa connaissance.

Kleines Paradies
Wir haben die 14 Tage in dem hübschen und geschmackvoll eingerichteten Haus sehr genossen. Der Garten ist ein Paradies und die nebenan wohnende Vermieterin überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es gibt Obst und Gemüse aus dem Garten frei Haus und sogar selbstgemachte, leckere Marmelade. Von Gy-en-Sologne aus erreicht man zahlreiche der Loire-Schlösser auf kurzem Weg per Rad oder Auto, und auch nach Blois, Beaugency oder zum Zoopark Beauval ist es nicht weit.

très belle propriété
Nous avons choisi ce gite qui est situé a 20 km du zoo de Beauval. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour ,l'endroit est calme, accueillant. Le jardin entretenu avec soin, les propriétaires charmants et discrets. Le jardin est vaste avec des poules et le chat.Le village a proximité est agréable pour les ballades en famille de plus nous avons eu le soleil avec nous.Je recommande cette location

Très bel accueil, location propre et fonctionnelle .nous n'avons pas aimé ( le rideau de douche, le portail trop petit et non éclairé, le lavabo trop haut pour des enfants, le toilette installé trop près de la partie la plus basse de la sous pente ) Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques.
