'We love love loved the wood burning fireplace!!! The deck overlooking the lake was sublime. The kitchen spacious. Didn’t like the tv being in the bedroom. Would prefer to have it over the fireplace. The couch was pretty basic and not comfy. There was no coffee table so we moved the daybed over to put our feet up. Lots of birds chirping. Lovely.'

'Greg and Nancy offer a very beautiful and peaceful Hobbit House to enjoy! 5 They are friendly and full of great information about the island when you feel like chatting and are equally respectful of your privacy when you choose it. The house provided everything we needed. I really appreciated that they allowed us to bring our cat. As others have mentioned, the breakfasts are just amazing! Thank you Greg, Nancy, Surfer and Tiki'

The host provided amazing breakfast items (juice, milk, eggs, fresh local sourdough, butter, jam) which made the trip feel so special and the location was a perfect distance from the town (10 minute walk down to the pub and 15 mins to town). Overall great stay, and would come back!'

The lack of cell service and a strong internet connection was a problem for us. I appreciated the bbq, fire pit and comfort of the beds. I did really miss having a tub though. 'These chalets are gorgeous! My teenage daughter picked this spot to celebrate her 17th birthday and I wish we stayed longer than a weekend. I highly recommend this location especially for families.
